Aditya stormed towards Ahana, his temper flaring. "Are you in your senses, Ahana? And why the hell are you talking like this?"

Kritika, making a disgusted face, thought to herself, *This guy can't say a word without dropping an 'F' bomb. Is he obsessed with that word? Eww, gross.*

Ahana stood her ground. "I am in my senses, Bhai. Kritika is my best friend, and there's no reason she can't stay here."

Aditya scoffed. "Oh, you want a reason? Fine. I can't stand being here when she's around."

Kritika narrowed her eyes at him. "As if I'm dying to stay with you," she shot back.

Aditya, unfazed, stepped closer. "Ms. Doctor, you know I can't live here peacefully with your constant blabbering. You should become a radio jockey; then you can talk non-stop. This doctor suit doesn't suit you at all," he sneered.

Kritika, fuming, forced a smile. "You know what, GO TO HELL, MR. SINGHANIA!" she exploded.

Aditya laughed mockingly. "Of course I will, because that place is better than living with you."

Kritika smirked. "You're right. Your deeds will be rewarded in hell. But me? I'll be in heaven," she said, her eyes gleaming.

Aditya rolled his eyes. "Yeah, and the people in heaven will run for their lives because you're there."

Kritika's jaw dropped. She threw her handbag on the couch. "You monkey, donkey, idiot, duffer! How dare you speak to me like that?"

Aditya, shocked, retorted, "You called me a monkey and donkey? I'm the most handsome, eligible bachelor in Mumbai!"

Kritika mimicked him. "Most eligible bachelor, my foot! Look at your hair—it looks like a toothbrush. No, a toilet brush. This proves you're completely a monkey."

Aditya stared at her in horror. "My hair... Did you just call my hair a toilet brush?" Kritika nodded.

Aditya grabbed a fistful of her hair. "Then what is this? What should I name this?"

Kritika winced. "Ahh, let go of my hair!"

Swetha's voice cut through the chaos. "Aditya!"

Aditya looked at Swetha, then at Kritika struggling in his grasp. He reluctantly let go. Kritika glared at him, smoothing her hair.

Swetha turned to Kritika. "Beta, we would be happy if you stayed here." Aditya's eyes widened in disbelief. Swetha ignored him. "So, what is your decision?"

Kritika stammered, "Um... Aunty, I... I can't say anything right now. I need to ask my family first."Swetha nodded. "Okay, beta. You can call them now."

Kritika nodded and moved to a side to make the call. Aditya retreated to his room stomping his foot.

Raman's phone rang. Seeing Kritika's name, he answered quickly. "Hello, Kriti. Are you okay? What happened?"

Kritika replied, "Papa, relax. I'm okay. Can you call everyone and put the phone on speaker? I need to discuss something important."

Raman gathered everyone in the living room and put the phone on speaker. "Okay, Kriti, go ahead."

Kritika explained, "Papa, Ahana's family has asked me to stay here until Daadi recovers. What do you think?"

Ishita spoke up first. "Kritika, tell us what you think. Are you okay with it?"

Kritika took a deep breath. "Well, Ma, Pa, it will be difficult for me to travel back and forth all day. I think it's better if I stay here until Daadi recovers."

Raman nodded. "Okay, Kriti. If that's your decision, no problem. What about your clothes and other things?"

Kritika slapped her forehead. "Oh, I forgot about that, Papa. Don't worry, I'll come and pack everything. I'm hanging up now."

Raman smiled. "Okay, Kriti. Take care."

Kritika replied, "Bye, Pa. Bye, Ma."

Finally, I'll be staying here. But what about that gorilla? No, Kriti, just don't mind him,

Back in the living room, Ahana jumped up, running towards Kritika. "Did Aunty and Uncle give permission for you to stay?" she asked eagerly. Kritika nodded with a smile.

Ahana screamed in delight. "Yippee! Ma, Pa, Bhai, Bhabhi, Kritika is going to stay with us!" Everyone laughed.

"Ahana, I need to go home and pack my clothes and other things. Can you show me the washroom?"

Ahana gave her directions. "Kriti, go upstairs, turn left, walk straight. The first division's last room is mine."

Kritika nodded, heading upstairs. She recalled Ahana's directions but got confused seeing so many rooms.

There are only seven people in this house. Why so many rooms? she wondered.

She kept walking, finally finding a large room that she assumed was Ahana's. She opened the door and peeked inside, her eyes widening at the opulence. Then she spotted a photo frame—it was Aditya's.

*Oh no, I'm in the gorilla's room. Run, Kriti, run!*

Turning around, she bumped into what felt like a wall. Looking up, she saw Aditya smirking down at her. She smiled fakely, stepping back.

Aditya crossed his arms. "So, what are you doing here, doctor?"

Kritika stammered, "I... I was looking for Ahana's room and came here by mistake. Sorry for the trouble," and tried to leave. But Aditya grabbed her forearm and pinned her to the wall, trapping her with his arms.

Kritika glared at him. "What's your problem?" she demanded. Aditya leaned closer, his breath warm on her forehead. She shivered.

Aditya taunted, "Did you forget about frying someone? I'm here now. Come on, fry me," he said, brushing her baby hairs off her face. Kritika tried to push him away, but he didn't budge.

She nervously laughed, "Hehe, I wasn't talking about you. It was my neighbour."

Aditya smirked. "Fine, then who is this monkey, donkey, idiot, and stupid?" he whispered, his breath hot on her ear. She shivered again, her body trembling. He lifted her chin, his breath now on her lips.

*Oh God, where is this going? I need to do something,* she thought. Just as he leaned in closer, she pushed him away and bolted from the room.

Aditya stood there, stunned. He couldn't understand what had just happened.
