Chapter 07

Being with the rest of the Bhengu family is quite refreshing.I even forgot about my cheating husband.I haven't seen him since that day,he didn't even come by.Only his brothers came and keep asking if I am okay.Oh and my father in law knows about his cheating son.They have been treating me like a egg,and the puking keeps coming and I decided why not go to the doctor for a check up.

"Oh going somewhere??"-a voice asks as I make my way downstairs.
"I'm going to meet my friend "-I say turning around to see who it is,and it's my husband's brother,Siyamthanda.
"A friend?? I didn't know you had a friend"-he says with his eyebrow raised.
"He is my childhood friend Buthi,my best friend Anathi."-I say looking down.
"Oh okay"-he says.
"Bye bye Buthi"-I say making my way out.

I am really  meeting Anathi,he will be accompanying me to the doctor's appointment.

"You know I have been waiting for you??"-he says as I reach to him outside the hospital.
"I had to take care of a few things,Anathi "-I say.
"So shall we go??"-he asks,I nod my head as I lead the way.I'm very much grateful that he would come here with me.

"Uhm we have a doctor's appointment with Dr.Molefe."-I say.
"You can wait by the chairs Mam she will be with you in a while "-the reception lady says.
"Mrs.Sibongile??"-A voice says from the office door before opening up.
"That would be me".

"So what is your problem?? Are you sick or you came for birth control??"-the doctor asks while looking at me and Anathi.
"Oh no he is my best friend,I am married "-I say the last part softly.I really don't know what to call me and Sthembiso.I know we are married and all that ,but it doesn't feel like marriage.
"Okay,so what can I help you with??".
"I have been feeling dizzy lately,and I puke a lot"-I say anxiously.
"When was the last time you have become intimate??".
"Last month I think"-I say not sure,I wonder what does Anathi think of me.I haven't been with this men for less then two months and already he's been between my thighs.
"Okay then can you please pee in this cup"-she says .
What happens if I'm pregnant??Will he accept the baby.I don't think it's a good idea for a child to grow up in a loveless household.I mean his family would be happy about the baby,but not him.

After peeing in the cup,I went back to the room giving it to the doctor.She dips in the pregnancy test in and we waited for a while.
"Well congratulations Mam you are expecting "-she says with a happy smile.Well I am happy but I am scared at the same time.
"It's gonna be fine,you have me by your side"-Anathi says with a smile on his face.
"We can make an ultrasound so you can hear the baby's heart "-she says.

We move from the office to some room.She makes me lay down on the bed.
"This will be cold for a while "-she says lifting my sweater.The gel was really cold on my belly.Next thing the room was filled with a strong heat beat sound.
"See there is our little one,his heart beat is very strong."-she says but her face slowly goes to confusion as she looks at the screen,I thought I was the only who realised but Anathi did.
"What's wrong doctor?? Is there a problem??"-he asks with a worried expression.
"Wait here I will go fetch the other doctor "-she say standing up in a hurry.

I hope nothing goes wrong,I don't want to lose something I just found.
"Well let us see what our patient has here for us"-the male doctor says making his way in looking at the screen.
"Unbelievable "-he says.
"Wh...what's wrong??"-I ask panicking.
"Nothing is wrong,you about to have Quadruplets"-they say happily.I'm so shocked right now,he hit it off once and already I have four souls inside me!!!

After getting my prescription and all the baby talk Anathi decided to take me out for brunch.
"So will you tell your in laws"-Anathi.
"I will but not now"-I say.
"Your husband??".
"He doesn't have to know yet ,he has to take care of his baby mama "-I say.
"Bubu you are one month pregnant you know that right,and they have to know"-he says.
"They will know I promise "-I say.

After brunch with Anathi he dropped me off at the family house.I make my way in and find the last person I want to see sitting on the couch and next to him was his baby mama.Looks like it's a family meeting.
