The Divisions

Hi!!! This is another book that I've written since I have so much free time in my sleeves now that school is over.

I thought of writing another boyxboy book, but this time without smut, because I want to explore sincere love between Kiev and Nolan without the inclusion of explicity, even if it's fiction.

This story sprung from questions of what it could be if a live version of you met the phantom of another person from a different multiverse.

It discusses themes of self-identity realization, genuine love depiction, falling into another version of someone than what he/she really is, and two boys altering worlds because of love.

Thank you for clicking on this story, and hopefully you enjoy what you're about to read!!!

Book Description:

There are three divisions of life in this world: the living, the dead, and the spectators. Each division is evinced by different phantoms of you, and is controlled by three versions of you. The living are the ones who find love; the dead are those who bury them; meanwhile, spectators are designed to be people-watchers in the real world. They cannot relish love or tolerate it.

But what if all's role is altered by someone who is destined to be a witness, not a victim of this so-called fantasy? Will love open a trapdoor to stitch hearts in both worlds? or will it break into divisions of unwantedness instead?

Kiev Weisser is a college student who treats love as somewhat of an apparition of disparity. All he has seen of affection is cruel and just a facade to cover the reality of being desperate. He even icks to watch people fall into this well, which makes his heart numb, ghastly, and breaks those who interfere with his own concept of love. Yet, his phantom stays on the living, and his heart beats contrary to what he loathes to feel.

Nolan Staten is a spectator who works to balance the feelings of those who feel against love. He longs to appreciate it more than some in the living, yet his heart falters to grasp the idea of being someone else's. All he was made for in this world was to watch as others fell into and out of love, not revise his own story. Not until a crime filed against his father years ago caught up to him. He had no choice but to run and live nonexistently in the real world, where he finds Kiev. The person he eyed for years to examine is the same who eyes him as he escapes. Yet his heart is now indifferent, and all he wishes is to inspirit the phantom known to be heartless.

In contrast to their worlds intersected with feelings far from what is written in shadows, do the divisions between them open each other's hearts into something more to live and spectate for, or does it end to bury what they're not supposed to feel? As one enlivens another phantom, another longs to deaden his phantom instead.

~This book is made of fiction and centers on the idea of multiverses bargaining with each other for love yet ending up in either a conflict or a happy ending, which translates to the phantom of what could've been.~
