AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I have no excuse. Actually, I do, but I don't want to bore you with the details of my busy life.
Anyway, we finally finally managed to finish this chapter, so I hope you enjoy it!
Here's a bit of a recap of the previous chapters to refresh memory:
- Octavia, Raven, Clarke and Lexa found out about Luna's affair with the Spanish teacher (Mr. Santiago)
- Raven dug up even more dirt on the teacher, and the information was sent anonymously to the principal, who then fired him
- Luna was absent for a week after that, and has now come back to school (no one knows that she was the student who was involved with Mr. Santiago, except for Octavia, Raven, Clarke and Lexa)
- Lincoln broke up with her when she ghosted him for a week
- The Lady Cats are in town, they played a game against the Memorial High girls basketball team
- Echo throws a party after the game and the Lady Cats show up - the team's center Mia Jones is obviously interested in Lexa and Clarke is trying hard to hide her jealousy, especially because she is not out of the closet and their relationship is still more or less a secret
- Lexa reassures Clarke that she's the only one for herHope this helps... feel free to let me know what you think!

Echo's party was up to everyone's expectations; Good music and good vibes predominated for most of the night, perhaps because after a long week of classes, intensive basketball practice and the unexpected game against the Lady Cats, that party was exactly what everyone needed.Against all odds, the unexpected presence of the girls from the visiting team did not dampen the spirit; The boys were simply delighted by their presence while the girls quickly understood that, although on the court they had to be rivals, off it they could all get along, especially with a drink in hand.
Except for one person, of course - Mia Jones, whose presence kept Clarke in suspense for the rest of the night.
The Lady Cats center had made her intentions with Lexa clear since she had arrived at the party, making several attempts to approach her and to engage in a conversation with her.
Clarke knew she had nothing to worry about, since Lexa had made it crystal clear that she couldn't care less about that girl. Furthermore, she had proven it once again by politely declining Mia's invitation to accompany her to the kitchen to pour herself another drink, staying close to Clarke while she firmly kept her distance from the red-haired girl. But that didn't mean Clarke didn't mind the way she looked at her girlfriend.
After a few intense hours, the effusiveness began to wane, so someone suggested to play a game.
In general, the idea was received with enthusiasm. There started brainstorming, but after discussing it for a few minutes they decided to play "Truth or dare."
People gathered on the chaise longue and the armchairs in front of the fireplace, some sat on the floor while others continued drinking and dancing in the space that Echo had adapted for it, away from the expensive and fragile decorative elements that her parents had obviously been collecting over the years.
The person to break the ice was Raven; She loved those types of games, and she was also good at them, since she was generally not a shy person and had the mischief and ingenuity necessary to direct the dynamics of the game towards the spiciest topics.
So, without further ado, she spun the bottle on the carpet and waited until it stopped on her first victim.
Mia Jones.
Unexpected, but very convenient to find out more about the red-haired girl whose presence seemed to make Clarke so uncomfortable.
Mia did not hesitate and chose truth; Either way, they didn't really know her, so if she lied, very few would know she was doing it.
