The Russian Guard stood there watching as the laser opened up
" The gate," The two boys said in unison
Robin walked down and almost tripped. she looked at the two confused
"I don't understand. You've seen this before?"
"Not exactly," Dustin responded
"Then what exactly" Natalie questioned
"All you need to know is it's bad," Dustin spoke rapidly
"Really bad," Steve nodded along
"Like, end-of-the-human-race-as-we-know-it kind of bad."
"And you know about this how?" Robin asked suspiciously
"Um, Steve? Where's your Russian friend?"
Natalie points to where the guard was supposed to be. The alarm suddenly rang, Steve looked at the exit to find a whole group of soldiers. " Shit"
Steve slammed the door and ran with the group. They bust into a room full of scientists, The group rushes downstairs to where the laser is. Dustin shoved himself into a guard in a red, they froze noticing the laser right in front of them. The blue beam radiating on their faces. Everyone shared the same shock look. The four ran into the opposite direction while Steve pushed some barrels down to block the entrance.
" This way"
The five enter inside the room, Steve tried to barricade the door, he looked at Robin " Help me"
Robin holds the door as best as she can, Natalie went right next to her, trying to help the two. Erica opened the vents, motioning the three to get in.
"Here! Come on, let's go!"
The kids approach the vent hoping that they would make it inside, but they are struggling to hold the door
"Come on" Dustin shouted
" Just Get out of here" Steve yelled
"COME ON NOW!"
"No! Just go get some help, okay?"
Dustin hesitated, his body is halfway through the vent.
" What are doing?"
"GO" The three shouted in unison
" I wont forget you" Dustin said, like it's the last time he ever sees them.
"GO"
Dustin climbs into the vent and closes it behind him. The door flung open, sending the three flying. Dozens of solders barge in as they have their hands up in surrender.
The guards aggressively dragged Natalie across the floor, they held on to her arms tightly. Natalie has bruises on her face and blood is hanging from her lip from the interrogation. Since shes half Colombian, Natalie just talked in Spanish. When the Russians asked who she worked for, she said Tu Madre ( Your mom) and they punched her.
Natalie let out a string of curse words that the Russians wouldn't understand. She wanted to cry but had to put on a brave face to show the Russian she wasn't scared of them. "Suélteme, Suélteme." ( Let go of me )
"GET OFF ME"
Another guard was dragging Robin, she is perfectly ok with no signs of injury. They threw the three on the floor, Robin heart broke at the sight of her face. "Oh My God Natalie"
"Estoy bien" ( I'm ok) - she said weakly
The two ladies now notice Steve, he is out cold. Natalie stayed there speechless, her eyes shot open with fear. She broke character for just a second. Robin approached his body, shaking him.
" Steve, Steve?"
The Russian general walked in, unphased on how scared they are. His face is all bruised up, Steve has suffered the worst out of the three.He wasn't the smartest, and he was a real jerk back in 1983.But Steve has shown he could be given a second chance, he has changed for the better. Even tho Natalie can't stand him at times, that doesn't mean she would want to knock him out like that. Steve Harrington deserved better, better than this.
" What did you do, what did you do to him" Robin shouted
He slapped Robin in the face, sending her to the floor. Natalie could feel her teeth clench. She didn't mind the pain, but no one can hurt Robin. Noone.
"NO LA TOQUES" ( Don't touch her)
The Russian general went and slapped her as well, she started to wince at the pain. Natalie took a breather and glared daggers at the man. If looks would kill, he would have been dead by now.
"Put them in the chair" The general ordered
They grab all three of them, Natalie started squirming as they strap them to the chair
" Stop moving little bird"
" Steve, wake up, Steve!" Robin pleaded
He grabs a handful of Steves hair, he's still knocked out.
" Don't touch him"
The general drops his head down, he takes a handkerchief from his pocket and wipes his hands.
"Steve, Can you hear me?" Robin continued to desperately plead
"I think your friend needs a doctor"
Natalie shallowed a lump in her throat, she doesn't do well with doctors.
He leans in closer to Robin, Natalie just wanted to get out of this strap, and beat the hell out of him. " Good thing we have the very best"
His evil laugh sent chills down Natalie spine, this man is a villain, a villain with a cold heart. The soldiers join in, menacing laughter's fill the room. The general turns around to face Robin and she spit in his face. Now why did Natalie find that weirdly attractive?
" Buen hecho" (Good job)
He stops laughing and wipes the spit with his handkerchief, Robin looks at him, trying to appear brave but tears appear in her eyes.
"You are going to regret that, little bitch"
"No" Natalies accent slipped out a little
The general now leans in front of her, and smiles. Natalie doesn't know how much longer she can wear this mask; in reality she is scared and angry. " Little bitches"
He looks at his soldiers before leaving the three in the room, strapped up. Two of them are still kicking while one is unconscious. They don't even know if he's dead or alive.
" Bastards! Let us out! Let us out!" Robin screamed as they went further.
