Now let the story begin.

A fiery glow envelops the area as a red dragon spirit roars while appearing next to the menacing looking blader known as Ryuga.

Filled with fear, Sophie of Team Excalibur backs away slowly as Ryuga laughs evilly.

Ryuga : This is my first time batting in a while, so could you try making it more fun?!

He launches his bey, which speeds towards Sophie and her teammate Wales.

Wales/Sophie : Go now Grand Cetus!

They say in unison while launching their beys as well, which immediately begin getting knocked around effortlessly by Ryuga's Meteo L-Drago.

Wales : Oh no!

Sophie : Cetus!

Ryuga : Hahahaha! That's not enough! Roar louder L-Drago!

His bey creates a powerful shockwave, which sends Wales flying.

Sophie : Wales!

She rushes over to her friend, who has been knocked unconscious.

Ryuga : This is pathetic. I haven't even begun to show my true power! Maybe you will put up more of a fight! Go L-Drago! Show her the awesome power of the Dragon Emperor!

The red dragon flies straight at Sophie, whose eyes widen in fear before everything goes dark.

Waking up in her bed, Sophie lets out a terrified scream before taking notice of where she is.

Oh thank goodness, it was just a dream. Well, a nightmare to be more precise. Hopefully I didn't wake up [Y/N].

She takes a deep breath to calm her nerves before turning to the other side of the bed, expecting her boyfriend [Y/N] to still be there sleeping, but he's nowhere to be found.

H-he's not here. Where did he-

Before the blue haired girl could start panicking, [Y/N] comes running into the room looking extremely worried.

[Y/N] : I heard you yell Sophie, is everything ok?!

Ah, so he did hear that after all...

Sophie : Y-yes dear, nothing is wrong. I just had a really awful dream is all, but I'm ok now.

The White Grand Cetus blader lies, still feeling unnerved from her nightmare.

[Y/N] : Babe, you're shaking right now. Whatever you dreamt about must've had quite an effect on you. Talking about it could help, but you don't have to though. Just know that I'm here for you.

His words get Sophie to calm down just a little.

I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend as caring as [Y/N] is. Maybe I should talk to him about it.

She offers him a small smile as he climbs back into bed.

Sophie : Ok, remember the Beyblade World Championships?

[Y/N] : Yeah? What about it? Is this about that guy from the American team?

Sophie : No, though I'd be lying if I said what he did to me, Wales, and Julian doesn't haunt me from time to time. Anyway, the night before our match with Team GanGan Galaxy of Japan, one of their members named Tsubasa arrived on Julian's estate wishing to challenge him.

[Y/N] : Oh really? So he's what your bad dream was about?

Sophie : No, it was....someone else.

Noticing his girlfriend tensing up, [Y/N] comfortingly wraps his arms around her.

Jeez, I've never seen Sophie act this way before. Just what in the world happened that night?!

[Y/N] : Calm down Sophie, you don't have to keep talking about it if it's too difficult.

Taking a moment to regain her composure, Sophie continues explaining her dream to [Y/N].

Sophie : Shortly after Wales, Klaus, and I confronted Tsubasa...he showed up.

He? Who's he?

[Y/N] : Who Sophie?

Sophie : R-Ryuga.

I've heard that name before. That was the guy who faced Gingka Hagane in the finals of Battle Bladers, and defeated Team Starbreaker's Jack in the World Championships.

[Y/N] : What did he do Sophie?

Sophie : That bey he has....it was unlike anything I've ever seen before. Wales and his Cetus were blown away like they were nothing. I would've been next if Julian hadn't intervened. The intense look Ryuga had shakes me to my very core. Never in my life have I been afraid like I was of him that night. I-it was an awful experience.

She holds on to her boyfriend tightly for comfort as he lets everything she just told him sink in.

W-woah. This guy must've been a real monster to have such an impact on a super strong blader like Sophie.

[Y/N] : How long have you been having this nightmare Sophie? The World Championships ended nearly a year ago. D-don't tell me this has been going on for that long.

When she looks down sadly, that gives [Y/N] his answer.

[Y/N] : Sophie....you shouldn't have kept this to yourself all this time.

Sophie : I know, and I'm sorry [Y/N], it was just a very traumatic thing for me that I wish I could get over, but I haven't been able to. You weren't there, so you don't know just how much of a presence Ryuga had. I was so close to being tossed like a rag doll just as Wales was.

[Y/N] : But you and I have been dating for quite some time now, so you know you can talk to me, or the rest of your team for that matter.

Sophie : Which is why I'm talking about this with you now, I finally felt I was ready to.

[Y/N] : I'm happy to hear that. I love you Sophie.

He says as she smiles and gently grabs his hand.

Sophie : I love you too [Y/N].

The two share a kiss and continue talking about whatever random topics comes to mind, causing Sophie to slowly get over her most recent nightmare about the Dragon Emperor, and with her boyfriend's help, she truly believes these dragon related dreams will eventually come to an end.
