Now let the story begin.

At a local Beypark, [Y/N] [L/N] and his sister [S/N] are about to have a friendly battle with Sophie and Wales of Team Excalibur, whom the two happen to be dating.

Wales : Alright, this will be a tag team battle. Sophie and I versus you two.

[S/N] : Fine by me babe, just remember to not get upset when my brother and I beat you both.

Wales : That's funny, because I should be telling you that [S/N], because we don't intend to lose!

The couple have an intense stare down as their blading partners sigh and shake their heads.

[Y/N] : Competitive as always huh Sophie?

Sophie : Indeed, this was supposed to be a friendly battle. Oh well, I wish you the best of luck [Y/N].

Her boyfriend smiles and nods.

[Y/N] : Right back at ya Sophie. Is everybody ready?

The other three nod and prepare to launch their beys.

[Y/N] : Alright then, let's get this battle started! 3!

[S/N] : 2!

Wales and Sophie : 1!

All 4 : Let it rip!

In an instant, four beys are sent into the stadium as the tag team battle begins.

Wales : I'll make the first move! Grand Cetus, charge forward and attack [Y/N]'s bey!

[S/N] : Oh no you don't!

Protecting her brother's bey, [S/N] has her Twisted Befall intercept Cetus.

Wales : What?!

[S/N] : I'd love to see you try getting through Befall's amazing defense babe, but until that happens you won't be going anywhere!

The Blue Grand Cetus user grunts in annoyance, knowing his girlfriend's bey is a defensive powerhouse.

Meanwhile, [Y/N]'s bey Cyber Aquario is delivering a series of attacks on Sophie's White Grand Cetus.

[Y/N] : Keep up the assault Aquario, don't stop even for a minute!

Sophie : Your bey has outstanding attack power my dear, but you should know that my Cetus can withstand anything you throw at it!

True to her word, Cetus doesn't seem to be affected by Aquario's attacks all that much, causing its blader to chuckle.

Sophie : You're laughing? Why?

A confused look is present the French blader's face as she asks this.

[Y/N] : Sorry Sophie, it's just that Aquario hasn't shown its full strength yet. Not by a long shot.

Sophie : Really? Well, the same goes for my Cetus, so let's change that! Go! Cetus Grand Maelstrom!

Her bey proceeds to create a whirlpool of air that begins dragging Aquario in.

[Y/N] : I know all your moves Sophie, and how to counter them as well! Special move! Aquario, Velocity Whirlwrecker!

Aquario begins moving in a circle at an insanely fast speed before creating its own whirlpool that collides with Cetus', causing an explosion that envelops the whole stadium.

[S/N] : H-hey!

Wales : What's going on?!

Once the explosion settles down, it's revealed that both Sophie's bey and [Y/N]'s bey are wobbling.

Wales : Aquario is weak! Go Cetus!

The blue Cetus bey escapes Befall and clashes with Aquario.

[Y/N] : So that's the way you wanna play this huh Wales? Fight back Aquario!

Cyber Aquario does so as Sophie's Cetus joins the struggle.

[Y/N] : Gah! I'm being double teamed!

[S/N] : Don't worry bro, I've got your back! Befall!

The peacock bey slams into White Grand Cetus, giving [Y/N] the opportunity to escape from Wales' bey.

Wales : Grr! We almost had him!

Sophie : Wales, it's time to finish this! Go! Cetus!

Her bey makes its way to the Blue Cetus as the [L/N] siblings exchanged worried looks.

[S/N] : A-are they about to do what I think they're about to do?!

[Y/N] : Looks like it, which means we can't hold anything back anymore sis!

[S/N] : Right!

Wales : This battle will be over soon! Special move! Cetus Grand Fleet!

A giant pool of water appears as a blue sperm whale rises out of it.

Sophie : Special move! Cetus Grand Victoire!

The same thing happens again, this time with a white sperm whale.

Sophie and Wales : Joint special move! Cetus Grand Deucalion!

Both sperm whales fly out of the water and slam back down at Aquario and Befall.

[S/N] : Stay strong Befall! Special move! Jade Hurricane!

The spirit of a green peacock appears and creates a similarly colored whirlwind and launches it at the two Cetus beys.

[Y/N] : Follow her lead Aquario! Special move! Hyper Velocity Wave!

Aquario moves side to side at blinding speeds and sends a powerful wave of pressurized air towards its opponents.

When all these special moves collide, a ginormous shockwave is created and knocks the four bladers off their feet.

[Y/N] : T-that was intense! Is everybody ok?!

Sophie : Wales and I are fine.

[S/N] : Same with me bro.

Wales : But who won the battle?

They all get up and are shocked to see that no bey is left spinning.

Sophie : It's a tie...

[Y/N] : Woah...

After picking up their beys, the four smile and shake each other's hands.

[S/N] : That was an awesome battle!

Wales : It really was. You were great out there [S/N].

[S/N] : So were you Wales.

The two share a kiss as Sophie and [Y/N] smile.

[Y/N] : I've never had a battle like that. I'm glad no one got hurt in the end.

Sophie : Me too [Y/N], though I must say it was really fun battling with you.

[Y/N] : Likewise. I love you Sophie.

Sophie : I love you too [Y/N].

They smile lovingly at each other and proceed to kiss as well before the four walk off to spend the rest of the day together after that intense tag battle.
