Now let the story begin.

Oh jeez, I don't know if I can do this.

Teenage musician [Y/N] [L/N] thinks to himself while pacing back and forth nervously as it's almost time to make his debut live performance.

Noticing his anxiety, [Y/N]'s girlfriend Sophie gently takes hold of his hand and gives him a reassuring smile.

Sophie : Darling, please try to relax. You are going to do great out there. Now, take a deep breath, exhale, and settle your nerves a little.

He does so, which seems to have helped.

Sophie : Good. How do you feel now [Y/N]?

The blue haired girl asks her boyfriend as he looks at her with a small smile

[Y/N] : Better. I'm still a bit nervous though.

Sophie : Darling, believe me when I say you have nothing to worry about. Everyone out there adores your music and cannot wait to see you perform your songs live for the first time.

[Y/N] : I....I know Sophie, it's just that this is kinda scary to me. What if I mess up somehow? I'll never hear the end of it!

I've heard horror stories of live musicians making mistakes that caused the crowd to laugh or boo at them, and I'm terrified at that happening to me.

He cringes at the thought as Sophie frowns.

Oh [Y/N], I wish you'd understand that you're stressing over nothing. If only you'd have more faith in yourself. Then again, I was exactly the same way when I first became a blader.

Suddenly, the French blader gets an idea as to how to help him.

Sophie : You know darling, I was extremely nervous when I entered my first tournament.

[Y/N] : Y-you were babe?

He asks as she simply nods.

Sophie : I was. My greatest concern was making a mistake that would cause me to lose in the first round.

Wow, with how strong and confident she is now, I find it almost hard to believe Sophie was ever nervous....just like I am now.

[Y/N] : H-how did you get past that Sophie?

Sophie : By believing in myself. I made it this fair, so I decided that I wasn't gonna let my fear hold me back from doing what I love. Just as you shouldn't darling.

After hearing this, a look of determination appears on [Y/N]'s face, much to his girlfriend's satisfaction.

Sophie's right, I won't be afraid to do this any longer!

[Y/N] : Thank you for the boost in confidence Sophie.

Sophie : You're welcome darling. Now you better get out there, your fans are waiting.

[Y/N] : Right!

The two smile at each other and share a quick kiss before [Y/N] heads to the stage, but not before glancing back at his girlfriend briefly.

I'm so lucky to be dating someone like Sophie. She's always been so supportive of my music career. In fact, she was the one who finally convinced me to start posting my music online. Now, I'm going to make her proud with this performance!

Making it to the stage, [Y/N] is greeted by his backing band, who all give him a nod.

Alright, let's do this!

Walking up to the microphone, [Y/N] grabs it and begins singing soon after the music starts.

As the song ends, the sound of applause fills the air as [Y/N] can't help but smile widely as he thanks the audience before rushing back stage, excited to see his girlfriend.

After they embrace, [Y/N] kisses her before running back on stage to perform the next song.
