Now let the story begin.

What?! How dare she do that to him!

After receiving the news that her friend [Y/N] has been dumped and cheated on by his girlfriend Selen Garcia, Team Excalibur's Sophie was livid to say the least.

Granted, I absolutely didn't like her before, but now after doing something so horrible, I have half a nerve to fly to Brazil and give that tramp a piece of my mind for stomping on [Y/N]'s heart like that!

The blue haired girl's anger soon fades as her thoughts shift to her cheated on friend.

He did not deserve to be treated so awfully by her. [Y/N] is a wonderful guy whom any girl would be lucky to have as their boyfriend.

Unbeknownst to anyone besides herself and her teammates, Sophie has strong feelings for [Y/N], but never got the chance to act on them before he got together with Selen.

I suppose there is a silver lining to this now that I think about it. Since Selen foolishly gave up being with [Y/N], that means I have a chance to confess now....but that will have to wait for the time being. As much as I would love to be with [Y/N], he just had his heart broken, and needs time to recover. Right now, I need to be there for him as a friend, and that's exactly what I intend to do.

She thinks to herself before heading to her friend and team leader Julian Konzern's estate, which is where [Y/N] currently is after being invited over to help get his mind off Selen.

Timeskip

While hanging out with the other three members of Team Excalibur, [Y/N] stares at his phone in sadness while reading the breakup text message Selen sent him.

She played me like a fiddle! Throughout all the time we were together, she was just using me! Man, I wish I never went to Brazil on vacation with my parents, because then I wouldn't have met her and my heart wouldn't be in pieces right now.

Noticing the sad expression on his face, the EU's England Representative Wales gets up and snatches [Y/N]'s phone away.

[Y/N] : H-hey! What are you doing Wales?!

Wales : Helping you. Looking at that text isn't gonna make you feel better [Y/N].

Klaus : He's right you know. I understand you're hurting right now dude, that's why we're going to help you forget about whatshername.

[Y/N] : It's not that easy Klaus. I really cared about Selen. Julian, I should've listened to you when you warned me about the Garcias.

Julian : No [Y/N]. If anything, that was the one thing I wish I was wrong about. Both from their actions during the Beyblade World Championships and the short time I was forced to work for Dr. Ziggurat, I learned that the Garcias are extremely talented at being underhanded and crooked, but I had hoped Selen would be different from her brothers while dating you.

[Y/N] doesn't say anything in response as Sophie arrives and immediately pulls him into a comforting hug.

Sophie : Oh [Y/N], I'm so sorry that happened to you. If you need anything, I'm here for you ok?

The French blader says after breaking from the hug while looking at him with a soft smile.

[Y/N] : Thank you Sophie.

He smiles back at her as the other three members of Team Excalibur exchange glances and nod at each other, knowing that if anyone's gonna help [Y/N] get over Selen, it's Sophie.

A few months later, [Y/N] is seen sitting on a park bench next to Sophie after losing yet another bey battle to her.

Man, I can never beat Sophie no matter how much I improve. Then again, she is one of the strongest bladers in the World, so I shouldn't be all that surprised.

He thinks to himself with a smile on his face before turning to his French friend.

[Y/N] : I had lots of fun today Sophie.

Sophie : Same here [Y/N], I always enjoy battling with you.

[Y/N] : Yeah, because you know you'll never lose to me.

He says with a playful grin as she rolls her eyes in response.

Sophie : You've been improving [Y/N], so one of these days you might manage to pull off a win against me.

[Y/N] : The key word there being "might".

The two proceed to share a laugh as [Y/N] begins to reflect on the last couple of months.

After what happened with Selen, I was devastated, but luckily I had my friends to cheer me up, especially Sophie.

[Y/N] : Hey Sophie, I just want to say thank you. Because of you, I'm completely over Selen and what she did.

Sophie smiles at hearing this and decides it's finally time to reveal her feelings to [Y/N].

Sophie : [Y/N], there's something I've been wanting to tell you. For the longest time, I've liked you as much more than a friend, but you got together with Selen before I could confess, and then she...you know...but I've waited long enough for this moment, so here goes nothing. [Y/N], I love you.

She tells him as he looks at her in surprise.

[Y/N] : Sophie, I never knew you felt that way about me. Truth be told, I've always had a bit of a crush on you, and after these last few months, that crush came back stronger than before. What I'm trying to say is...I love you too Sophie.

Upon hearing this, the French girl smiles warmly and immediately pulls him into a passionate kiss, making [Y/N] already feel happier than he ever was with Selen.
