Now let the story begin.

Arriving at a small harbor, Sophie of Team Excalibur has been invited by her close friend [Y/N] [L/N], whom she hasn't seen since before the Beyblade World Championships began, to go on a relaxing cruise with him so they can catch up.

I regret not keeping in touch with [Y/N] while participating in the World Championships, so I was rather excited to meet up with him here. I imagine that he and I have much to catch up on.

She thinks to herself with a small smile on her face as she walks up to the harbor where [Y/N] is waiting, only to be immediately greeted by him.

[Y/N] : Sophie! I was beginning to worry that you weren't coming.

Sophie : I'll admit that I was reluctant at first due to my dislike of getting wet, but I quickly decided that I couldn't just pass up the opportunity to spend time with you after being busy for so long. It's great to see you [Y/N].

[Y/N] : Likewise Sophie, I missed you a lot.

The two smile at each other and share a friendly hug, resulting in them both becoming slightly flustered before pulling away.

Sophie : S-so [Y/N], how did you set up this cruise we're about to go on?

[Y/N] : I'm glad you asked Sophie. The captain of this ship is an old friend of my father, and he agreed to do this for us as a favor to him. He used to sail everywhere with my dad before his retirement.

That's right! [Y/N]'s father was a well known marine archaeologist before he decided to retire a few years ago.

Sophie : I see. Shall we get on board then?

[Y/N] : Absolutely.

He gets on first before offering Sophie his hand, which she happily accepts as he helps her onto the ship.

What a gentleman. [Y/N] has always been so kind and sweet. It's one of the reasons that I......have feelings for him.

A small blush appears on the blue haired girl's face as she glances over at [Y/N], who is currently talking with the captain.

In truth, I've been in love with [Y/N] for a long time now, but never could muster up had the courage to confess. Now with the World Championships over, I intend to finally act on my feelings.

She's quickly snapped out of her thoughts as [Y/N] walks over to her with a smile.

[Y/N] : Ok, the captain says we're ready to set sail.

Sophie : Wonderful.

A few seconds later, the boat starts leaving the port as the cruise begins.

Timeskip

About an hour into the cruise, Sophie is seem staring out into the distance with a content smile on her face.

Sometimes I forget how relaxing it is to be out on the water, though I could do without the occasional splashing.

Peering over at [Y/N], who is currently leaning against the side of the boat looking down at the water hoping to catch a glimpse at any signs of marine life, Sophie's smile grows wider.

Adorable, but I wish he'd be more careful doing that.

[Y/N] : Sophie! I think I see something! Come look!

He exclaims in child-like excitement before the motion of the boat suddenly causes him to lose his balance and fall over the side into the water below.

Sophie : [Y/N]!

Popping his head out of the water, [Y/N] looks up at her while trying not to be swept away by the current.

[Y/N] : I'm ok! The water is really cold though!

Luckily, the boat is small enough for Sophie to extend her hand for [Y/N] to take, which he does as she pulls him back onto the ship.

[Y/N] : Thanks for the help Sophie.

Sophie : You're welcome, but please refrain from leaning over the side from now on.

[Y/N] : I will, trust me. Being in that water was not fun.

Sophie : I figured as much.

[Y/N] : But luckily I had you to save me. You're my hero Sophie, how could I ever repay you?

He asks her in an overly dramatic way to get a chuckle out of his friend, which he succeeds at as she playfully rolls her eyes at him.

Sophie : Well for starters you can help pay for my dry cleaning when this cruise is over, because you know I don't like my clothes getting wet.

She tells him while pretending to be serious.

What?! I'm absolutely drenched from head to toe, so if anyone should be complaining it's me!

Taking in [Y/N]'s reaction, Sophie can't help but laugh.

Sophie : Relax, I was joking [Y/N].

In response, he pretends to pout a little, making his French friend giggle as he soon begins chuckling as well.

After a brief yet comfortable silence, [Y/N] looks at Sophie and speaks up.

[Y/N] : Sophie, I wanna tell you the reason I planned this cruise for us.

Real reason? What could that be?

Extremely curious, Sophie nods and waits for him to continue.

[Y/N] : W-well, I kinda figured a cruise would be the perfect setting for me to....confess to you.

Sophie : [Y/N], are you saying that you-

[Y/N] : Have feelings for you? Yes. I love you Sophie.

The blue haired blader blushes profusely before smiling lovingly at her crush.

Sophie : Funnily enough, I was planning on confessing to you on this cruise, because I love you too [Y/N].

Now that both of them have confessed their feelings for each other, [Y/N] and Sophie share a passionate kiss as they enjoy the rest of their cruise together.
