I sat in class bored out of my mind listening to my teacher educate us on history. I sighed as last nights events clouded my mind. It was common to have them but I was only used to glimpses not the whole memory.  I shivered at the memory of my mother and father being slaughtered in front of me and my step sister. I shook my head trying to forget. Today was a very special day. Normani and Dinah my best friends were in combat class while I was in History. I glanced up to see that Mr. Whitborn was discussing with the class about the out break. A military blood disease had gotten out and ended up killing 90% of the human population. This led to the worlds beginning of another huge war but this time it was against humans no this time it was against something much worse then a mentally ill human leader. They came out of hiding taking children and young teens while the out break was taking place. Raising them to believe that they were the last of humanity. They raised them into live feeding bags. Made them turn against themselves and beg to be like them to leave their humanity in a pile of ashes. I hated these demons. They slaughtered my parents then kidnapped my sister leaving me to bleed to death! I absent mindedly touched my neck and shuddered as the two scars grazed against my palm. I remembered when Dinah had found me laying on the floor of my bedroom. She ran to my side and held my body as we waited for help. When help came I met Normani who was just rescued herself. Her mother died and her father was in the ICU of a hospital that they managed to secure and maintain. Her siblings taken leaving her alone weeping while she held her mother and fathers hands watching them both fade her mother left first and her father was very close but the rescue team got to her quickly saving them both. I hadn't spoken much to either of them. A sharp ring brought me out of my thoughts as class ended. I stood up and grabbed mt notebook and bag. I hoped that Mr.Whitborn wouldn't be concerned once I left.

"Ms.Cabello please stay for a little we need to talk." Mr. Whitborn demanded. I stopped instantly and turned to face him.

"Yes of course Mr.Whitborn." I replied with  innocent smile on my face. Once every class mate emptied out of the room. I looked at my teacher pointedly. I raised an eyebrow t him and he laughed.

"Ms.Cabello please don't give me that look. You are doing great in class but what worries me is that Commander Blain called and told me that after today you won't be attending school anymore." He told me with a kind smile. I groaned knowing that he was going to wory but I couldn't complain he took care of me while I was in the hospital he was a close family friend. I looked at my bag and I opened it and grabbed my letter from the commander himself.

"He gave me this and told me to give it to you yo explain his reasoning's for calling you to let you know to not worry." I replied as I handed the piece of paper over to him. I watched him closley as his eyes scanned the scrawly hand writing of the Commander. His eyes widening at the relization of why I was being excused from school. I had been chosen for the position to help our comrades at riding our home of the demons I hated so much.

"You were chosen to become a part of the Vampire Eradication Company. You, Your going to become a Vampire Hunter." He said shocked and I nodded. I did this for her for my step sister. I got the letter back and left. I felt the anger surge in me as I repeated his words. Then I remembered her and that I promised myself that I'd find her somehow that I'd find my sister.

"I'm coming for you Ally."
