Five years two days and three hours. That's how long I've been here in The Sanctuary with other children saved from the disease. Me and the others are grateful that Violet and Jaqob came and saved us. I was crushed though that Camila my sister couldn't be here. Violet had killed my sister and father because they were infected just like my step mom. Violet had done Camz a favor considering that the infected try to eat and kill anything. But a small part of me believe's that Camz could have been saved and under the protection of Prince Zero. He was a royal who had made Violet and Jaqob who are nobles. Prince Zero took me in when I was brought to The Sanctuary. The Sanctuary was a small town surrounded by four large walls. Those walls kept the disease away from us with some technology that the prince and his disciples made. Suddenly a wave of unease hit me. Flashes of images erupted into my mind swamping my previous thoughts.
Cool wind surrounded the young girl. Her long curtains of sparkling blonde hair contrasted with the dark walls behind her. Her small body was shuddering from the freezing wind that blew viciously into the room. A loud sound of a door being broken down made the small girls head pop up. Dazzling blue eyes shone with fear and hope . An image of Jaqob came forth. His huge body stood menacingly in the doorway of the room the little girl was in. Long white fangs escaped his mouth. He grinned at the girl while he walked over to her slowly. The girl trembled as a scream tore out of her lungs. That's when he made his move and silenced her with his fangs deep in her throat slowly draining the life from the girls body.
The images faded away leaving me surprised and hurt. Its no secret that vampires feed from those they save especially the ones housed by a specific vampire. Jaqob being a son to Zero had fed from me before but he has always seemed gentle but the images I had just endured spoke vibrantly that not only did he lie to me but they all have. I suddenly started to think that maybe even Violet lied to me about my parents and sister. That they've lied about all of it. A tear slide
down my cheek as the events I witnessed replayed in my mind. I fell down to the floor of Prince Zero's room as more tears slid down my cheeks. The door to the room suddenly opened and the Prince walked in concerned.
"Ally darling what wrong?" He asked coming to me. My immediate instinct was to find comfort in his cold grasp but the fresh reminders of Jaqob's actions stopped me.
"Nothing Prince." I mumbled and stood up wiping the tear stains off my face.
"You don't look like it was nothing." He countered standing next to me now.
"It really was I just remembered something about my sister Camila." I lied. His violet eyes twitched at my response and he frowned at me. His eyes scanned my face for any signs of false hood but living with him as improved my lying techniques.
"I see. Ally remember your human, tears are normal." He told me as an arm wrapped itself around me.
"Of course,"I said, "Oh how was your meeting about that vampire rouge?" I asked to get us off of this subject. Zero's eyes went cold.
"Well we didn't get very far but e have found out the traitors name." He gritted out
"Who is it?" I asked now actually interested
"My own sister. Lauren Jauregui."
