Unexpected (A Camren Fanfic)

Chapter Ten

After me and her little incident I had excused myself because I had noticed the time. Before Roger had asked me out we had made a plan to meet up again. I rushed into the room searching for him with excitement coursing through my veins. He was sitting down with an angered look and sweet was very clearly seen on him. I walked over to him ready to talk and have a nice time like we usually do until I see an equally pissed Royal vampire next to him, his Royal vampire. Then I remembered what I had done with Lauren and I knew what I did was wrong what me and her were even thinking about when it came to each other was probably just as wrong. Sighing knowing I was already a crappy girlfriend I decided to go and confess to him that is until he turned around and beamed at me. I was very confused but then I realized him and his vampire buddy weren't even looking at one another. I knew it must have been the training that we have to go through with them. It's a training program for us to get closer with our bonded vampires so we can use their powers to fight and also to communicate and work on things such as instructions or a talk through or other things that could be useful in the battle field. Going to sit down I heard something. It must have been Lauren but I didn't hear her so I didn't think much of it. Looking up at him I smiled as did he.

"Hey." He said sweetly as always looking dashing and being a gentlemen.

"Hi." I responded hoping I didn't sound too cheery because come on now if your too happy somethings up and I could tell my nerves about what me and Lauren did was getting to me. I had cheated on him without even thinking about him I mean how cold is that and to topo it off I did it with a vampire none the less plus she's a Royal too. I groaned mentally. Gee sometimes I wonder how I could be so much of an idiot sometimes.

"So what did you do while I was at training?" He asked trying to get us to talk about something sense the air was so filled with a tense feeling. And my response wasn't so great but I decided it would be better to lie to him.

"Mostly just went to my room and discussed with Lauren a bit." I told him.

'And made out with her like my life depended on it.' Was what I mentally added. His face scrunched up and he looked like I had mentioned something horrid.

"Why did you spend time with her?" He asked anger in his voice when he said her. I was confused but I didn't say anything about it.

"Had nothing better to do really I mean if you were bored out of your mind wouldn't you do almost anything to not be I mean if it means I got to talk to a Vampire and a Royal problem then wouldn't you." I stated trying to not sound like I actually enjoyed her company. See here if you were to be to kind or fond of a vampire it was seen as a treason and people would treat you just like they would treat them and I didn't want that.

"I guess." He stated shrugging his shoulders. Thinking that was the end of it I went to get up so I could grab a snack because I was starving. But right as I got up he said something that bothered me.

"Camila I don't know what your bonded vampire is to you but you need to tell her that you're my girlfriend ok that your mine to look after not her that you're mine and nobody else's ok." He said his voice edgier than usual. I turned around to look at him my eyes wide at hearing that while looking at him totally and utterly bothered to the core. So I'm not the only one who can see it. My fists clenched up. We're not even a couple for a day and he thinks he owns me that I'm just an object to him that he owns. That I'm a damn tree he pissed on and labeled as his. I felt something surge in me a dark power and urge I felt over taken and different.

"Roger let me make this clear ok I am not an object ok I am not yours to mark and claim as if I am a prize to win do you understand and whatever you think is going on between me and Lauren, yes she has a name, is just all made up in your mind now if you don't mind I am starving and want a snack." I said with some weird authority leaking out of my voice. Rogers face seemed pale as he looked at me and his Royal vampire was just as surprised. While walking to the vending machine a wave of unease and dizziness hit me. My head was spinning and all I saw was things and objects swirling around. I tried to maintain my stance and stay straight and stand perfectly fine but I failed. I heard an angelic voice I recognized like no other. That's when I gave and fell only for her to catch me with worry in her captivating green orbs. Staring up at her I absent mindedly put my hand on her cheek and smiled.

"I'm ok were ok this is ok." I muttered not knowing why I told her that but I felt like I needed to reassure her. As I laid in her arms I saw darkness start to creep into my vision making some of the swimming shapes stop and disappear. I allowed the darkness to envelope me for I didn't want to stare at the nauseating swimming things anymore. Giving one last look over her I whispered goodbye.
