Soft they were so soft but she was a vampire a traitor. Green violet eyes met mine. I felt a pull to her a connection but i knew it was just the bond that made me feel for her. Hurt flashed through her eyes as if she heard my thoughts. Her eyes left mine looking away as if she thought she saw something. A hand touched mine and I looked over at Roger. I smiled warmly at him and giggled as he told me that I was very beautiful. I heard a growl but I don't think he heard it thank God. Dinah ,Normani , and Troy were in training with their blood bond vampires. Sense were supposedly high ranked killers in our group we all got either a royal or a noble. Me and Roger were the only ones to get a royal I think. Gerad was his name he was sweet and kind but he was to nice and sweet to Lauren for my liking. A smirk spread across her face and she started talking to the vampire I was just thinking about. He was cute though suitable for Roger. He abruptly stood up and grabbed my hand.
"Camila can we go somewhere private I need to talk to you." He asked and I nodded happily. Finally I've been waiting for this. Lauren shot up from her spot and Gerad followed suit.
"Camila we were told to stay by your side I don't think it'd be wise to go somewhere private without us present." Lauren told us well me really.
"We'll be fine Princess Lauren and if we're in trouble we are both bonded to you both so it'll be ok." He said and we walked off.
Be careful Camila. Her voice said inside my head and I just nodded. We got to a room and we sat down. He looked nervous as he played with his fingers. He finally looked up and grabbed both my hand as a sigh escaped his lips.
"Camila I really like you and I was really hoping we could got out together if you are ok with it of course." He said shyly and he was slightly blushing.
"Roger I would love to go out with you." I told him grinning and he looked up surprised and hugged me and then pecked my lips. He got up and I followed.
"Thank you Camila and babe you won't regret this I'll be the best boyfriend you've ever had." He said enthusiastically. He then frowned and said he had to go. I nodded and pecked his lips goodbye. I was in the room alone now smiling. But the loneliness wasn't for the door opened and I was pinned to the farthest wall. Looking up I met violet and deadly violet eyes they were boring into my soul but I could see the green still in there and by the way I felt I knew who it was.
"What was that?" She asked seething looking ravage. I looked down then back up not showing any fear nor coward like reactions.
"I have no idea what your talking about Princess." I told her and she flinched at the way I addressed her. She then growled and slammed me against the wall.
"How stupid do you believe I am Camila! Roger is not right for you he is cocky ignorant and rude. Why would you date him?" She stated her voice cracking at the end. I wasn't going to give though.
"Roger is none of those things he is sweet, caring, nice, and thoughtful. And why I am dating him is none of your concern but I'll say one thing. He. Is. Human." I bit out and somehow got out of her hold and started to leave.
"Camila," I stopped turning around her eyes staring me down with sorrow in them, "did that kiss we shared mean anything to you." I was surprised and I didn't want to tell her it was and that kiss had been haunting me in my dreams for two days. I knew that whatever we could have started couldn't happen she was a vampire I am a human we don't mix. I looked her long and hard in her eyes. Without thinking the answer slipped out.
"No." With that I left her there. Tears wanted to break free from my eyes but I wouldn't allow them. The truth was I was starting to feel something for her something I couldn't let take form. I went to my room and laid down face down. I wanted to go to her and say sorry and that it meant something so much more to me something I couldn't explain with words. My door opened and I got up quickly to see Lauren there her eyes green and glassy. She closed my door and speed over to me grabbing my face and kissing me. I sighed into it allowing what I knew was forbidden feelings to come flooding forward. Everything disappeared except for her and me. I felt like I was on cloud nine as our lips moved in sync. Her soft plump lips moving carresing like across mine as if to take in every once and crevace of my mouth. She sucked on my bottom lip pulling it between her lips and bit down on the soft flesh that she pulled between causing me to moan and gasp. She took that chance to enter my mouth. Out tongues danced together mingling and getting to know one another. Her arms tightened around my waist and mine around her neck. She was being very gentle and I loved. I had to push away though to get the breath my lungs craved for. As I panted we pressed our foreheads against each other and I smiled. My fingers started to play with her hair as I thought about what just happened. I kissed her again even though I was hell bent on not repeating what happened that day together. Looking into her eyes I got lost again.
"Lauren," I called out and she broke out of her haze too and focused on me, "our first kiss meant a lot of things to me."
