Tim sighed as he lugged the last of his boxes into his new office.

"Hey," Lucy said, peeking her head through the doorway.

"Hey," Tim smiled breathlessly.

"Ready to go home?" Lucy asked, flinging her purse over her shoulder.

"I was...uh, going to actually stay back a little to try and unpack some of these boxes. You can take my truck home and I'll just catch an uber,"

Lucy shook her head, "Or I can stay and help you."

"You don't have to," Tim chuckled.

"I was thinking of ordering some takeout on the way home. Maybe I can have it delivered here and we make a little date night out of this?"

"A date night out of unpacking all these boxes?" Tim chuckled, looking around at the piles of boxes.

"Dream date," Lucy teased.

"Sounds perfect," Tim smiled.

"Thai?" Lucy offered, taking her phone out.

"Great," Tim said. "I'll...get a head start on these boxes."

After many hours of opening boxes and getting sidetracked by their food, the two were finally leaving the station.

"What about plants?" Lucy suggests, mindlessly scrolling on furniture websites.

"I don't have time for plants," Tim says, leading Lucy to the car.

If it wasn't for her clinging onto his arm the whole walk out of his office, she probably would've walked into a pole by now.

"Why not?" Lucy fake pouted as Tim opened the car door for her.

She climbed into the car as Tim made his way to the driver's side.

"I'm too busy trying to stop criminals from taking over the city,"

"Are you a plant killer?" Lucy teased.

"I am not," Tim said, acting fake hurt. "I'm an amazing plant parent."

"Uh huh," Lucy said, clearly not convinced. "When was the last time you took care of a plant?"

"I haven't had a plant because I've been busy," Tim shrugged. "But if I did have a plant, it would thrive."

"So then it's settled. You can keep a plant in your office,"

"What? Didn't I just say that I'm too busy?"

"Yes, but you're in your office every day. There's got to be some point throughout your day where you can take ten seconds to water it."

Tim rolled his eyes as he started the car.

The whole car ride home was filled with Lucy saving furniture items that Tim could decorate his office with.

"What about paint colors?" Lucy asked.

"I'm not painting the office," Tim said, dropping the keys into the small dish that Lucy insisted they needed for their keys.

"Fine," Lucy said. "But I am so getting you this office chair."

"I don't need a new office chair,"

"But it's navy blue," Lucy frowned.

The rest of the night was filled with Lucy constantly ordering furniture that Tim insisted he didn't need (even if he really did need some of it).

"Tomorrow I will pick up a little plant for you during my lunch break and it will be your first ever day as a plant parent," Lucy says, climbing into bed.

Tim shook his head, "Please tell me that this is the only plant you will be purchasing,"

Lucy hesitated. "I've been...secretly looking for some new plants for the apartment."

"Lucy..." Tim said, shaking his head.

"Me and the plants are a package deal," Lucy teased.

"Fine, but if some of them mysteriously die...don't look at me,"

"Are you threatening to kill my plants?" Lucy asked.

"No, I'm implying it,"

"You monster," Lucy said, acting fake hurt, holding her hand over her heart.

"One plant," Tim says, reaching to turn off the lamp.

"Two?"

"One."

"Two?"

"Lucy,"

"One," Lucy groaned, folding her arms.

"Love you," Tim said, kissing her forehead before tucking himself into bed.
