"Let's go." A man's voice spoke on her background. My forehead creased.
Who the fuck was that?
"Okay." She answered. The ended the call. I looked at the phone in my hand.
"Aithnayn." Luther called my attention.
"Yes." I skimmed through the papers in front of me but ended up looking intently back in my phone. An unexpected call. I answered.
"Yes," I skimmed the papers again. "I told you i left the force already." I sighed. "What do I care about your vacation? What? Where again? When? Today?" I ended the call.
I looked at Luther. "Dude, can you finish this up?" I stood up and stacked the papers in front of him.
"Got somewhere to go?" He smirked.
"I need to follow my girl."
He looked at me suspiciously. "Your.. girl?"
"Feel free to look around. The fridge is stocked up." I speedwalked to my room leaving him on my study.
I wore my hoodie and stuffed my clothes. I could buy things there so I didn't take long to prepare. Grabbing my bike key i head to the garage. I wore my gloves because it will be a long drive.
I sent a message to the person who called me and waited a bit. The information I needed is here. I then revved the engine of my bike. Thoughts running through my head, I kept my cool. But I can't. Pumping the accelerator for faster travel, i focused on the road.
Thirty minutes into the drive, I saw the car. The plate number is the same as what I received. Luckily a hand reached out. Her dainty hands.
I followed the car and when im on the same speed with the car and running beside it, I pulled down my helmets visor and then reached for her hand.
"Keep your hands inside. It's not safe, Mira. I'll see you soon."
I squeezed her hand gently and let go, i pulled my visor back up and sped up leaving them at the back.
I connected my phone to Bluetooth earpods.
"Eclipse. Where are you?"
"I'm actually near the resort already. Why?"
"I'm going there."
"Why? But sure! I will be waiting. Should I ready a room for you?"
"Yes. Thanks."
"Yes sir."
I ended the call and then focused on the road again. Another 30 minutes and I arrived at the resort. I went directly to the reception.
"Room for Aithnayn."
The receptionist checked their system and then nodded.
"Here is your key, sir."
I grabbed the keys and looked for my room.
Good job, Eclipse.
The rooms interior is relaxing. I sat at the bed and texted Mira.
To: Rakel Mira
What time are you arriving?
She replied quickly.
From: Rakel Mira
5minutes I guess? Where are you?
To: Rakel Mira
Around. Be waiting.
From: Rakel Mira
Oh.. Oh-kay? See you, Aith!
I changed into my comfortable clothes. A simple black dri-fit shirt, some simple cargo shorts and a rubber flip flops.
