Chapter 17: Aithnayn

"Xaaaaaviiiieeerrrr!!! Let's play water polo!!!" I heard my brother's girlfriend shouted from the pool.

I looked at the girls taking off Mira's rashguard and shorts. It looks like they are harassing her but she is laughing, I stood up to help her but Xavier and Eclipse said that I should let her be and enjoy her new friends. Its fine.

"The prize?" The painter shouted back while reading a magazine.

"If we beat you, you will let us have a girls night out!!" Claire shouted and then grinned at us. Eclipse stood, Xavier is sitting but his eyes is on his girlfriend, like he knows what she's thinking already.

"Claire suggesting the game is sus." Rafayel remarked.

"No boys allowed." Keisari added.

"Hearing that Keisari say it confirms it." Zayne grumbled.

I can hear the girls laughing like they know they will win. Eclipse and Xavier chuckled but I don't think its a good idea. It really does sound sus. I continued on looking at Mira. I sighed.

"Please?" The doctor's girlfriend shouted and Zayne stopped from reading on his laptop.

"It might not be so bad.."

I can't rely on him when Elize in the context. He gives into her so easily as cold as he may look. He loves her too much, and saying no is not an option.

Xavier, Rafayel and Eclipse nodded.

"Fine. But we have to win."

"Yes. I don't trust Keisari with that smirk, Rafayel." Zayne.

"And I don't trust Elize with her sweet voice, Doctor Zayne." Rafayel looked back at the pool where the girls were swimming, Elize stood on the side like watching the girls interact with each other.

"I don't trust Claire's playful mind." Xavier spoke his eyes fixed on his girl. "She tends to do dangerous stuff."

"Damn, Ysa can't be joining those crazy girls." Eclipse grumbled.

"Then why--" I was cut off when Keisari spoke from the pool.

"First to score a point wins."

"Its just one point, right?" Rafayel asked then Zayne nodded.

We looked at the girls planning something sinister and nodded.

We have to fucking win this.

We fucking lost to the girls.

"Fuck you, Zayne." I almost punched the doctor. He agreed to the damn wager the girls proposed! And I can see Xavier pacing back and forth. Rafayel keeps on calling someone on his phone and Eclipse looks mad. Zayne calmly sits while looking at us like we are crazy.

"I still can't contact Keisari." Rafayel threw his phone on the coffeetable and then stood up.

"Elize is with them," he assured and then took a sip of his coffee. "They will be safe."

Xavier nodded like he trusts the doctor but I can't be sure.

He looks mad. But calm. I can't calm down.

"Might as well try and drink the tension away." I heard Eclipse spoke and then she stood up.

"Let me join you." I heard Rafayel, then he followed Eclipse out of my suite. Zayne and Xavier just sat there, waiting for any call from their girlfriends.

I sighed. "Join us."

Zayne closed his laptop and gave Xavier a pat on the shoulder. "They will be fine," he took a deep breath. "Three of the strongest hunters are together and I am sure that they will call us if ever they got into some trouble." He looked at me.
