"We won, huh?" Kei plopped down next to Rafayel, her legs stretching out as she sipped her juice with a wink. I watched them quietly, unable to ignore how Keisari’s bikini practically sparkled in the sunlight. Rafayel’s gaze? Oh, he was devouring her like she was a five-course meal, eyes twinkling like a kid with candy.

"Nothing too reckless, please," he said, though his voice wobbled between admiration and concern. Even with love glowing in his eyes, there was a sprinkle of worry.

What’s the big deal about a girls' night out anyway?

"Don’t stress, Zayne," Elize giggled as she wrapped him up in a playful hug, her spoon dipping into the strawberry parfait he'd ordered for her. "I’m with them."

Zayne raised an eyebrow before leaning in to steal a kiss, playfully licking the sweet ice cream off the corner of her lips. "I’m not worried about you, love," he smirked. "I’m worried about what they will do."

Elize burst into laughter. "Come on, what’s the worst that could happen?"

Zayne sighed, looking like he was already bracing for the answer.

"You thinking about tagging along, love?" Aith chimed in beside me, his brow slightly furrowed.

"Why are all of you acting like this?" I asked, scanning the faces around us as the tension rose.

"Just… go easy, alright?" Xavier pleaded, the caution in his voice barely hiding the amusement.

Eclipse let out a low groan, slumping against Ysa’s shoulder dramatically. "I don’t know much about the hunters, but those three? They've got a reputation around Linkon. Something wild’s definitely going down tonight."

I couldn’t help but smile. This night was about to get interesting.

Ysa continued sipping her drink, her body relaxed as Eclipse wrapped herself around her from behind, holding her close. The way Eclipse’s arms draped over Ysa’s waist, her lips brushing against Ysa’s ear as they whispered, felt intimate—too familiar. It was like the world around them didn’t exist, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that everything between them had moved far too fast.

And your relationship with Aith isn’t fast? My mind taunted me, drawing a soft sigh from my lips.

“They look okay to me,” I said, though my voice wavered slightly. “A bit rough around the edges, but they’re good people.”

Even as I said it, a small part of me wasn’t convinced. I barely had a chance to dwell on that thought before Aith pulled me onto his lap, straddling him. His lips found mine, soft but insistent, as his tongue teased my lower lip before trailing down to my neck, tracing the marks he’d left on my skin the night before. A low moan escaped me as his hands slid from my waist to my hips, down my thighs, fingers kneading, caressing, making me melt into his touch.

“Aith…” I breathed, feeling the heat between us rising with every soft kiss, every touch.

“Should I come with you?” he murmured against my skin, but I could hear the worry behind his words.

“I’ll be fine,” I assured him, trying to steady my breath. “We won the game fair and square. Claire, Kei, and Elize won’t let anything happen to us.”

Just as I finished speaking, I noticed Keisari and Claire standing, both ready to go. Elize slowly slipped off Zayne’s lap, her hands lingering on his chest before she stood as well.

“Shall we get ready for our girls' night out? A trip to the spa, Mira? Ysa?” Keisari suggested with a grin, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

“What? Too early for that, Keisari!” Rafayel whined, sounding playful, but clearly not wanting to be left behind.
