Emma had been distracting herself so she wouldn't focus on the call. One call that could change her life.
To continue the distractions she decided to do a bit of stalking about her hopefully future co-star. After the auditions, Emma realized where she knew Aaron from. He's a huge broadway actor! She loved the Les Mis movie, Catch Me If You Can, and Next to Normal. She couldn't believe she didn't realize it was him till hours after the chemistry test.
While stalking Aaron's instagram she found lots of exciting information. He had a dog named Miles. He loved golfing. But the main thing that was all over his instagram was performances. God, he really loved this stuff.
She saw photos of him on stage and behind the camera. She was honestly impressed. She was honored to even be considered for a role that was opposite him. He was incredible, and she was brand new.
While scrolling through a few photos he had posted, Emma's phone started to ring.

This is it. This is the call she's been waiting for. This could either make or break her.
She answered the call and put it on speaker, her heart racing.
"Hey, Emma! It's Charolette. How ya doing?" Charolette spoke through the phone.
"I'm currently freaking out because I know why you're calling. So just tell me. Did I get it? Or no?" Emma spoke
"You got it." Charolette responded
Oh my god. OH MY GOD!!!! Emma couldn't even make sense of this. She wanted to shout from the rooftops. I'm gonna be in Moulin Rouge! I'm playing Satine!
"Alright, well. I'm gonna send you Matt, the director's, contact information. Let him know that you accept the role. Okay? Bye!" Charolette hung up.

After, Emma texted Matt to tell him that she accepted the role and was very eager to start, Matt informed her that he was hosting a party in his apartment for the whole cast. He wanted everyone to get to know eachother.

Emma had a fear of elevators. Ever since she got trapped in one when she was younger, she hates them. So while walking into the lobby for Matt's party, she was displeased at the fact that he was on one of the highest floors.
She had to decide. Take the elevator? or walk 15 flights of stairs?
She didn't know what to do.
She stood in-front of the elevator, with the stairs at the left of it, still trying to decide. That was, until, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to find Aaron standing behind her.
