Tenth Sip - Bonding [Flashback part - 1]

You were now sitting on a giant stone situated at a high cliff which faces the sea. Today sure was a tiring day, you trained with the girls, took the risk of provoking Hancock and even managed to buy some time. You removed your beach sandals which was also given by the girls since it was getting soo hot. The touch of the grass wasn't ticklish but it was rather pleasing. You took a deep breathe then exhale it out.

As you were sitting you heard slow and calm footsteps approaching you from behind. You kept sitting even though the sound was getting closer and closer by every second.

Finally, the sound of the footsteps stopped and not to your surprise it was Granny Nyon. You already expected it to be her ......She sat down on the grass beside you . There was silence for a few minutes until Granny Nyon spoke up -

"You have grown up a lot since the last time I saw you ", she said calmly to which you remained silent .

"Haha.....It's really funny that I couldn't even recognise you . I was rather more focused and shocked on hearing 'Crystal Mythia .", she continued. " You have changed but still.....you are also like you used to be .", she added with a fond smile on her face .

Hearing her , a fond smile made its way to your face as well ....

"You were really young when that happened . But you handled it and I am proud of you for that ......After all , that night was unforgettable. ..", she finished the sentence with it .

A chuckle escaped your lips on hearing the last part of her sentence . You looked at the now orange painted sky whose artist was the setting sun and finally decided to speak up -

"Thx..... " Short Gran ~" ", you said

"You brat , you are still gonna call me that ?",she replied to the nickname you gave her .

"Well...I could handle it because I had them besides me ...", you said and the flashback begins -

The streets of Crystal Mythia were living up to its name today . Merry chattering among people were all over the kingdom . Today many stalls and games were set up for the event . All the kids were happily running around with balloons and cotton candies in their hands .
