•After so long...
Home. I've reached it.
The sounds of trains, helicopters, other various tech, and weaponry were present now that the three had reached the destination—High Camp.
A place that Neteyam thought he'd never see again.
Spider had taken the two through a secret passageway that only him, Kiri, Lo'ak, and Tuk knew about, as to draw less attention. Neteyam wished for a discreet entry, not really wanting to become a spectacle. They managed to get inside, and soon the scent flooded Neteyam's nose. He took deep breaths, closing his eyes to get a feel of the place he used to live in. Liyanin observed as he did this, gently rubbing his shoulder.
"Ahh, how I've missed here..." he let out. "...grandma." His eyes fluttered open, looking around for Spider. Once he did, the boy nodded towards him.
"What's up?" Spider asked.
"You can go and let everyone know we are here. Make your presence known and let everybody know that you're okay. The last thing they know about you is that you were kidnapped." Neteyam instructed him. "I am going to take Liya somewhere."
Spider blinked before nodding, curious. "Alright, you two have fun." He smirked before running off. Neteyam shook his head while smiling, turning around to walk. Liyanin's head was tilted in confusion, her, too, being curious.
"...and where exactly are you taking me?"
"My grandmother."
Her eyes widened.
"Your what?"
"Grandmother. Her hut should be this way," he took her by the hand, leading her. "...I hope she hasn't moved."
"Wait—Nete, wait a second...!" she exclaimed, grabbing him by the arm. He stopped his movements, looking at her naively. "...that is a...pretty huge step from parents, no?"
"Yawne, it will be fine," he took her face with his hands, kissing her forehead. "...she is like you."
"Like me?" her eyes filled with intrigue right then and there.
"In the sense that you both are...enigmatic. Plus, you carry our child, she will most definitely take a liking to you."
"Well, I still cannot help but feel nervous. It is your grandmother."
"You have nothing to worry about."
They continued walking toward Mo'at's hut, until Liyanin stopped him in his tracks again.
"I don't know if I am ready."
"Liya, please. We talked about—"
"—I am still a wreck—"
"—Yawne—"
"—Neteyam?"
An old, yet wise voice called out, catching the two off-guard. Neteyam looked up past his wife's head, catching the view of a lady he hadn't seen in so long.
"Do my eyes deceive me?" she voiced in disbelief.
Neteyam's mouth fell open, slowly walking to the woman. Liyanin's hand fell from his arm, her eyes following his movements. She then let her eyes fall to the reason he was walking away, seeing the Tsahìk.
