AUTHOR'S POV.
Marriage is not a homeplay of kids. When elders say it's a very crucial moment in everyone's life, they mean it. For everyone choosing a partner is their right but sometimes the fate is bounded by God that even if they don't want to, they would end up tieing their destiny with the God's choice. And thats what happened with Shurisha. For her, she's young to get married but now that this is what her destiny has decided, she can't fight against it. She was a person to think that she will be the one to write her own destiny, but it's not us instead it's the God who manoeuvre our fate and no one can change what he wants.
Sitting in the living room of her in-laws with her family and in-laws, she couldn't understand the reason behind her fluttering heart. What was it? These unknown feelings? Or maybe because she's engaged. Engaged to the person she never expected. Dropping her gaze on the ring, she opened her fist and caressed the ring with her thumb. The moment when she saw her name on his finger displayed in front of her eyes like a movie's romantic scene. She felt her ears and neck heating up and before someone could suspect her blushing face, Kiara's voice came from the lounge of the mansion-"Shurisha, come here."
Shurisha raised her head looking at Kiara who was waving her hand at her. Giving her a small nod, she turned to her mother telling her she'll be outside with others and rose up from the couch. Walking with mince towards the lounge picking her lehenga a bit, making sure it doesn't stroll with the floor. Reaching towards the pool side where others were standing expect the person she wanted to see the most. After dinner, Suvansh wasn't in front of her eyes for a long time and even now, he wasn't here. Cursing him wasn't enough, she was having an urge to give him a tight slap for sprinting away from her.
"Where's Suvansh?" She asked approaching others. Kiara held her wrist, putting her arm around her shoulder before asking in a teasing tone, raising her eyebrows.
"Why? Already missing him?"
"Nahi-"
"Of course she will miss him, they can't see each other before wedding from tomorrow." Reshmi interrupted her, coming up with another way to tease her. It was something she forgot, she can't meet him before wedding from tomorrow and he was already nowhere near her. She wants to see him, right now! She doesn't know the reason but it's like an urge to see him before leaving.
"Shurisha what happened?" Shanvi asked with a worrying tone, when noticed the sweat beads forming on her forehead in the winters. Noticing everyone's eyes on her, she opened her mouth to say something but closed immediately. Wandering her gaze around the pool side area she asked again "Where's Suvansh?"
"He went with Dhruv and Sameer somewhere but i don't know where." Shanvi answered picking up a bottle of water from the nearest table, passing it to Shurisha.
