Akira is in her room doing combat training. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, feeling the familiar surge of energy coursing through her veins. She then exhaled, controlling her breathing.
The emerald-eyed girl hands began to glow with her void energy. She then began to do series of attacks as if she's fighting a Serpentine. Each time she strikes leaves a trail of darkness.
She was focusing on her speed and movements, imaging different obstacles in her way, each one being relentless assault.
Akira passed for a moment, catching her breath for a bit before teleporting in between her room while continuing to do attacks. While doing so, she creates a shimmering barrier around her. She visualized incoming attacks, responding with swift movements to reinforce the barrier at critical points.
After a long period of time, she felt a sharp pain in her eyes. The said girl groaned in pain as she dropped to her feet, her void energy disappearing.
"Fuck!" She grumbled, holding her eyes in pain. The girl attempted to stand on her wobbly feet as she tried to find a mirror in her room. She slightly stumbled but made it to her standing mirror. She cautiously opened her eyes and was automatically stunned in surprise, gasping.
"What in the hell! What happens to my eyes!" She questioned. Her eyes were now marked with a strange, intricate symbol that pulsed faintly with an ominous energy.
Akira stepped closer to examine the symbol more closely. It had a complex geometric pattern that seemed to shift and change. The pain in her eyes subsided and now was replaced by a strange tingling sensation that spread through her body.
"Come on, Akira, think, think." Akira said, wracking her brain for answers, recalling her studies of ancient texts and lorw about elemental power from her master. Her eyes widened in realization. "It's the symbol of Void!"
The said girl was in awe now. "I guess it finally appeared..."
'I've been training more and more frequently due to the disappearance of Lloyd. I couldn't stand the sad looks and grief from Sensei Wu; leading me to train more often so I could bring back Lloyd.'
