Day of the Great Devourer

The ninja, Nya and Lloyd watched as Wu stays behind with Pythor.

"You must do everything in your power to stop the Great Devourer. Go, ninja! Go!" Wu yelled, just as the Samurai Mech blasted off

Cole side hugged Akira who welled up in tears while Lloyd whimpered as he clenched onto her gi in fear.

Wu looked at the ninja with sincerity in his eyes, just as the Great Devourer emerges out from the ground. Lighting strikes in the air, causing the atmosphere to feel tense.

The ninja quickly backed away in the corner of a statue, just as the Devourer roared at Wu and Pythor who backed away. It then lunges at them and swallowed them whole.

The thunder rises as the Devourer roared loudly. It then turns around and spots the ninja.

"Oh, maybe if we stand perfectly still..." Jay said as he sneakily ran away.

"Run!" Kai shouted as he turns around and ran in between the state, alongside the others.

The Devourer slithered towards the ninja in a fast motion while they ran towards the Bounty that just landed.

Just then Jay tripped, grunting as he made impact with the floor. He jolts in surprise when the heard the Devourer roared at him.

The lighting ninja quickly stood up and ran after his teammates. "Wait! Wait for me!" He yelled.

Akira immediately teleports herself and Lloyd inside the Bounty while Nya was checking the monitor.

"Fire up the engines." Nya said as she ran towards the wheel.

Akira didn't respond as her heart quickens. Her mind was replaying the scene where her Sensei was swallowed whole by the Devourer.

Lloyd looks at her in worry as he held her hand in comfort.

"I said fire up the engines!" Nya yelled, snapping Akira out of her mind.

"R-Right!" The emerald-eyed girl stuttered as she quickly walked towards the control panel with Lloyd still holding her hand. She analyzed the panel before saying. "There's no wind. And we only have reserved fuel."

"Use it." Nya told her.

Just then Kai, Zane and Cole came tumbling inside the bridge. Nya turns around after flying the Bounty and noticed Jay comes rolling inside the room and stood up. He then takes a look at the monitor and sees the Devourer approaching them rapidly.

"Uh, hate to tell you this, but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear." Jay frowned.

"Working on it." Nya said before pressing a button. "Blasters on full." She announced as the blasters activates onto the Bounty.

Before the Devourer could attack the Bounty, Nya sped off.

"Whoo-hoo! Take that, you stupid snake." Kai cheered.

Just then the Devourer roared loudly as he approched the Bounty rapidly.

"Uh, I think it heard you." Jay says nervously.

"Way to go, Kai!" Akira glared at him.

The Devourer lunges at the Bounty, but Nya dodged him. The snake then slithered towards them again.

"Nya, we gotta go faster. That thing is gaining on us." Kai says.

"We're going as fast as we can. I'll try to make it to Scattered Canyon." Nya replied.

"Akira, can't you create a portal to teleport us out of here?" Lloyd asked.

Akira shakes her head. "That's not possible. I can only create small portals; Making a bigger one is not in my league as yet." She then looks at Nya. "I'll try my best to slow him down."
