Author's POV:

BHAIIIIIIIIIII ! They spoke in unison and tension was evident on their faces. That's because Tanu's brother is so possessive and protective about her that he can't see her hurt. That's the only reason he was hesitant to send her on trip alone but here she had already sprained her ankle ! The deed was done. Now they know they have to go through a long lecture ! She sighed and made herself mentally prepared to make up an emotional story to calm him. When she was lost in all these thoughts , Sohit approached towards them and asked her Where she was lost to which she shaked her head saying nothing. Then he helped her walk towards the bonfire where all the students were gathered together and made her sit comfortably. Soon all of them settled down and started discussing about the games to be played. They played few games and then decided to sing some songs. That's when Sneha asked Tanu to sing as she had a really good voice and singing was her hobby. Everyone present there including the teachers knew this and started insisting her to sing. But she denied as she thought her voice wasn't that good. After sometime , out of nowhere Sohit too insisted her so she agreed ! All of them clapped and cheered for her to which she smiled looking at him and said ,
"So friend , this one's for you !"
She started singing the Song -

She ended her song with a smile and heard a loud round of applause with everyone hooting and cheering for her. She looked at him and asked how's it by raising her brow , to which he just smiled and said Amazingly beautiful ! She passed him a cheeky smile and they continued enjoying further singing songs and playing games. Now it was time for dinner so everyone dispersed. He forwarded his hand in front of her and help her stand. He took her to tent and made her sit comfortably. He asserted ,
"You rest , I will get the food for us." She just nodded ! He went out and came after sometime with food. They ate their dinner having few chitchats that's when he praised her for her voice and also suggested her she should sing often. She promised him she will focus on her hobby more from now on !

After the dinner was done , they all were settled in their tents to rest. Some of them were wandering around feeling the cool breeze of air and the clear night sky. So do our leads ! Tanu loved to feel the night cool weather and felt at peace. Sohit was helping her to have a walk around. After a small walk , they went back to their tent and settled down. Sohit was seeing the sleeping arrangements and settled on the matresses.
After that Tanu started speaking ,
"Hey friend did you realised one thing ?"
Sohit heard that and glanced at her in confusion , so sensing his confusion she smiled and continued "We became friends but still we don't know anything about eachother , not even names !"
The realisation then dawned upon him and he smiled. He said "Hey am Sohit." She nodded smiling and said "Hey am Tanaya."
And with that short Intro session they shared a little about eachother. She got to know about him a little that he's from Kolkata and has recently shifted to Mumbai for studies due to some reasons. Then a thought came to her mind and she asked him , "So where will you stay ?" He replied "For now I am staying at my friend's house but soon I will find a room for myself." Listening this she thought something and grinned.

Tanu's POV :

He told me that he will be staying at his friend's and soon find a room , an idea popped into my brain then and there. Here's a chance for me to repay his favour and every help he did to me. I started -
"There's a flat right besides mine which is empty. I have the keys as I use it sometimes for study or chilling with friends. You can definitely stay there as the owner is not here."
I said this because I knew he won't agree If I told him it's mine flat only. Yes my Bhai as taken that as a property on my name. So I can anyways let him stay. I looked at him and he seemed to be in deep thoughts. I know this can be hard for him to accept as he is an introvert. But I can atleast do this for him so that even I can help him in studies also giving time to grow our friendship. I understood the turmoil that might be going inside him so I took hold of his hands and continued ,
"I completely understand what you must be feeling but trust me I am doing this just to help you In Return of your help.
Ab kaha tum itne bade shehar mai Ghar dhundhoge ? Isse acha hai meri offer maan lo.
(*now where will you keep searching for rooms in such a big city ? It's better you accept my offer.)
See even we can study together and nurture our friendship further." I explained him my side and I can see he was much convinced. (*Yeah I am good at convincing 😉)

I just waited for him to speak something hoping for a positive reply only. And that's what he did ! He accepted my offer. I was so happy that I could help him with little I can. But he further said - "But I will give rent." I knew he won't agree so I just nodded my head. He smiled and so did I. I further told him to accompany me tomorrow to my home and after having lunch I will show him the flat. He agreed. We had few more talks and then drifted off to sleep not before wishing eachother a night.

I slept happily and excited for the new day coming. I just hope everything goes well. And with that sleep consumed me soon.
