Sarah-Jane and Edey have never met but they bond over their shared love of Henry. He lies on the floor panting from the heat, enjoying every bit of attention he can glean from them.

"Hedda, I haven't seen you in ages," Sarah-Jane smiles happy to see me. I catch her up on the latest, especially about the developments regarding Hugh and she is astounded.

"Edey, how are you?" I try to include her in the conversation too.

"I'm good," she says simply.

"How's..?" I don't finish my sentence but I don't have to. She knows.

"She's doing well, she's actually my girlfriend now," Edey gives me a little more information, surprising me a lot. I had no idea either of them liked girls.

"Wow, I had no idea. That's amazing! Does she...?"

It's rather embarrassing when I can't finish that sentence either.

"She doesn't want to see you, she knows I'm here but she's not happy about it at all."

"Have you broken our sire bond?" I ask, placing all my hope on that to resolve our problems. Or at least, to give Stella the courage to talk to me again.

"We have," Edey answers shortly, not elaborating at all. I can tell she's caught between the two of us and I don't want her to feel like she ever has to choose. I won't ever make her.

I'm actually stunned when she says she's been free from my bond for months now. Why hasn't she contacted me?

Edey sets the record straight, dashing all my hopes. Stella still hates my guts, she even drinks vervain everyday because she's terrified her actions won't be her own.

Guilt gnaws away in my stomach. It hurts but I'm sure it hurts Stella more.

I excuse myself and find Hugh who doesn't ask what's wrong, he simply strokes my back calmly to make me feel better. He's perfect. He always knows what I need and when I need a distraction rather than a chat.

Vincent, Freya and Hope are setting up everything for the spell. It's going to be hard, that's why all the witches who might be willing to help our family are here. Even Sarah-Jane will play a part as a siphoner. The best part is, she hasn't predicted any deaths so we're all quite relieved.

When Davina and Kol arrive after Bekah, Freya drags all four of my missing family members into the circle in the middle, each separated by magic to ensure the Hollow doesn't join fully together again. That would be far too dangerous.

Daddy is completely unconscious which worries me but maybe it's for the best until he's back to normal again. He really scared me the last time I saw him.

Sarah-Jane and Edey are tasked with maintaining those barriers, both of them very strong in their own right. Sarah-Jane has siphoned an immense source of power, unknown to me, but I suspect it's linked to the outraged New Orleans witches I heard Davina mention a while ago on a call.

Davina is rather unsettled, holding back her nerves as she is instructed by Vincent on how to hold her portion of the spell and swiftly extract the Hollow from Kol. Freya is going to be focusing on Dad, Davina on Koly, Vincent on Finn and Hope on Bekah.

If this doesn't work we will all die. No one tells me but I can feel it, just as I can feel the magic thrumming through this place. It's raw and dangerous.

Even Henry is hiding in his bed. Poor doggy.

Nik ends up irritating Davina within five minutes of her walking in. She even manages to give him an aneurysm, dropping him to the floor with the worst headache of his life, until Freya screams at her to stop wasting her energy.
