Newfound freedom

While you were floating in the sky, your mind was plagued by hundreds of thoughts. What was the Grand Sky? Where had you seen Law before? What did Doflamingo want from you? Then, while you were looking at the beautiful stars that surrounded you, you were about to ask him for more explanations, when he suddenly spoke.

"Where did you get that hat that you are wearing?"

You were taken aback by the question, why was he so interested in your hat? Was it the reason why he was surprised when he saw you?

"All I remember is a man gave it to me, probably a long time ago, but I cannot remember his face"

"I see" He looked serious. Then you started to see near you, what appeared to be a floating piece of land.

"What the-?"

"Finally some land" When you were right on the island you stopped floating and Law let go of you. You were overwhelmed by the amount of people there, the floating island seemed to be some sort of town, surrounded by other floating chunks of land. You were intimidated by the whole situation, since you only remembered clearly your lonely stay at Doflamingo's castle, it was basically your first time seeing so many people together. Law noticed how nervous you felt.

"Is everything alright? You seem a bit-"

"Nope, yeah, totally fine" You smiled at him, trying to act as natural as possible. He proceeded to walk towards the town, and you reluctantly followed him.

"We should go to the port and find a ship to go far away from here" You were starting to worry again. You were blindly following this man that had just kidnapped you, so when he wasn't paying attention, you slipped away, using the crowd to your advantage. Now you were free, and it was your chance to see the world.

"We can't stay here much longer, Doflamingo and his men are probably looking for us right now" He turned to see you, but you were no longer there.

" . . . fuck"

Walking on the streets of this little floating town, you were trying to think what your next set of actions would be. You could go back with Doflamingo, and act like nothing ever happened, or you could use this opportunity to remember your past, starting with the man that gave you this hat.

You had to go to the port if you wanted to escape the island, but Law would be there. Then you thought, how did he make you two float? Maybe the same way these islands were floating. Going around town, asking people, you learnt there was a device that allowed you to float for a short amount of time.

This was your chance to escape, see the world and remember your past. All you needed was that device and a map of the nearby islands.

Law was desperately looking for you, if Doflamingo found you before him, things would be much more difficult.

"If he gets to her, she will probably be kept at Dressrosa with maximum surveillance, and stopping Doflamingo's plan will be much more difficult" Law thought. "Not only that, she has Corazon's hat, she's my only chance to know what happened to him"

Then, he saw Baby 5, one of Doflamingo's assassins, walking by. "Shit, they are already looking for her here"
