Corazon

"Cora . . . san?" You tilted your head slightly. Somehow, that name seemed familiar.

"The man who saved me from Doflamingo" Law answered with a little smile. He looked happy to know that man was still alive. "We have to find him, and uncovering your past is the best option we have"

You looked at him, he looked at you.

"I will help you remember, we just need to find connections, just like what you just did" He looked genuinely happy, contrasting with the serious demeanor he had always.

"Um, ok" You smiled slightly.

"What were you thinking before you remembered him giving you my poster?" You were blushing again from embarrassment. You couldn't simply say that you were thinking of him.

"I . . ah, I don't know, it just came to my mind, you know. . ." You said while trying to avoid eye contact "Maybe if you told me more about this Cora-san guy I could remember"

"Oh, right" He sat down again on the bed next to yours "Cora-san, or Corazon, is Doflamingo's younger brother" You gasped, that was probably why you thought of Doflamingo when you tried to remember his face.

"Doflamingo's brother . . ."

"Yes, Donquixote Rosinante, he saved me from my disease and Doflamingo's influence"

"You were manipulated by Doflamingo?" You looked at him worried.

"That's all in the past now" He said, avoiding your eyes, then, he looked at you. "What matters now is yours"

"Ok, I'll try to remember Corazon . . ." You closed your eyes, and tried to think of the moment Corazon gave you his hat

You were sitting on the sand of a beach, looking at the waves moving slowly, when a voice called you.

"Y/N, what are you doing? Is everything alright?" It was Corazon, his face reminded you of Doflamingo's, but it was softer, kinder.

"I was just thinking" You said looking at the ocean again.

"And what are you thinking about?" He sat next to you. He was considerably bigger than you, you looked tiny in comparison.

"One day, I'll have to leave this island. You cannot protect me forever, I need to see the world" He looked at you, a saddened smile on his lips. He took his woolen hat and put it on your head.

"What the-?" You looked at him

"I know, but I'll always be there, one way or another, so I know you'll be safe" He had a big warm smile on his face. "You know the world can be cruel, but maybe you and Law can make a difference. I trust you two" You thought of the poster he had given you a few days ago.

"You are always talking about Law, when will I get to meet him?"

"That will be difficult, you know the life of a pirate is a dangerous one" He looked at you worried. He didn't want you to get involved in anything related to pirates. The two of you looked at the waves.

When you opened your eyes, Law was looking at you mesmerized, the light shining within you once more. You looked at him blushing.
