In the middle of the night sky, a looming figure swung through the clouds. The man that had everything he wanted, the master of your destiny. He moved swiftly through the sky, even if he had to carry you. He hold you with one hand, pressing you against his bare chest, while he swung across the sky using his devil fruit power.

You didn't talk at all. You did not fight him or try to run away. Your hope for freedom had vanished completely. You knew this man would follow you anywhere, for you to be his. And wasn't that your destiny? You just had to be reminded there was no choice. You did not have free will. You were born a star, a being with a purpose bigger than your own desires. This was meant to be . . .

"The stars seem to shine brighter tonight" Doflamingo calmly said with a soft voice. Was he trying to soothe you? You said nothing. You did not dare look at the night sky. You did not want to look at the stars you so much admired before. The didn't bring you comfort anymore. They were a reminder of your destiny, your inability to choose.

Doflamingo continued to swing through the sky. His smile slowly faded, like he was letting go of that facade he kept all the time. "I want you to be safe, by my side" He said in all seriousness. You looked up at his melancholic face, he seemed so earnest. "I know better than anyone how painful it feels to be betrayed . . ." The pirate seemed to open his heart for the first time to you. And you, such an innocent girl, listened to every word he had for you. "You now know, they don't truly care for you" You were silently hearing his soft voice. As sinister and violent as this man could be, he had such an alluring and calming aura in private. "Using you as a weapon . . ."

"That's not-" You quietly objected.

"Isn't that what they wanted from you? They were training you, to kill me" The man explained to you.

You got quiet for a moment. It was true Law had suggested it, and you trained your powers and abilities with them. "I do not wish to kill anybody" You replied almost in a whisper. "Unlike you . . ."

You could see a slight hint of irritation in Doflamingo's face. However, he kept his calm demeanor. "You are still too naive, girl" He began to lecture you. "Kindness won't solve all your problems, for it is a weakness. People will use you, hurt you, abuse you for being weak. But, of course, you don't truly know how horrible the world we live in actually is"

"It didn't seem so bad" You mumbled, thinking of the friends you had made these past few days. Doflamingo's words couldn't be true. Your friends were good and honest. Right?

"You'll accept any ill lie just to not be alone, will you?" He asked these sorrowful words with such a soothing voice, like in a way he was worried for you. This question caught you off guard. You were silent, his words struck deeper than you thought.

"It wasn't . . . It is not a lie" You whispered, more to yourself than to him. "Is it?" What if all they did was use you, as Law was using you? What if you just went along with them to not be alone, as you always had been? That was in part why you yearned for the stars. You yearned for company, to not be alone as you have always been all your life. "I really thought he . . . at least saw me as a friend" The words softly left your mouth with deep sorrow. "I really wanted to believe they cared for me. It felt so genuine" You felt heartbroken, believing Doflamingo's words to be true.

You finally watched the stars of the sky surrounding you, the only source of light you had. You thought back on your regular life, before Law appeared. You thought of that night, when Doflamingo stared at the stars through your window. You wanted that sensation to come back. The feeling of calmness, that everything is fine. The ignorance of the truth, when your life wasn't filled with lies and harsh realities. But you knew that simple life would never return. "As much as I would like to go back to how things were . . . It won't be the same"
