CHAPTER 5

Raghav was constantly keeping an eye on them.

Why is he smiling too much? Seems like he came all the way just to flirt with girls. But what's wrong with her? Can't she see he is hitting on her? Oh, so madam knows to smile like that . .She was never so cool with me. .Hell! what's wrong with the entire universe. 

"Stop drilling them with your gaze Raghav." Sanjay said looking at his friend.

"All your friends are perverts like him. Isn't it?" Raghav was utmost annoyed with the fact that Sanjay helped Arjun to get introduced to Pallavi.

"Well, no. People like still exist in my friend list and for your information, Arjun is not a flirt. In fact, this seems to be first time he is taking an interest in a girl."

"Why? Before this he was interested in boys?" he asked in an irritated voice.

"Are you really annoyed with him making a move towards Pallavi?"

"Anyways tell him that she is not his type." Raghav was not liking the way the conversation was going.

"You said that you are not interested in her! Then what's the matter bro?" Sanjay was testing his patience level.

Raghav didn't answered the question. He got up and moved towards the other side of the hall.

He was filling water in his glass but he was so lost in his thoughts that he failed to notice Pallavi coming towards his side.

"Hey . ." she said with a polite smile. He didn't said anything but rather returned back the same smile.

"So big night today. Isn't it?" she asked him about their upcoming bachelor party.

"Yaa, they are going somewhere for the party!" She felt like he is upset about something.

"So, you are not going with them?"

"No, I don't really enjoy parties."

"Same here. But today I am fine since it is just me and Pihu!"

He looked at her and nodded. 

What's wrong with him today? If she goes back, there will be that Arjun who tries to talk to her constantly and here when she is try to initiate a conversation with Raghav, he is not interested!

 Khadoos  . .she teased him internally and saw him walking away. She informed Pihu that she is leaving for the time being and will meet her near the pool around 11.

Raghav was in front of his laptop looking into the family history of the victims . . . he went through all their recorded statements and asked his officers to check on Ruhan, Riya's boyfriend. They had informed him that he never went back to college after Riya's death.

He decided to have a one-to-one conversation with him once he get back to work. He looked at the common points once again!

While Riya and Rohit went missing from their respective houses during night time, Shweta disappeared during a family function and never came back alive. . .

Their phones were also missing during the time of abduction!

It's almost impossible for these three to have any common link. It doesn't seem to be a random selection either since the killer is clearly showing a pattern in terms of time duration and location! So what is the motive behind his selection?

Raghav felt like the murder is clearly trying to prove a point. Whoever it is, they didn't tried to assault them sexually but rather preferred to give death like pain before they actually  killed them, which shows a sign of vengeance. .
