A faint blush crept across her cheeks as the familiar high school uniform clinging to her now more mature figure. She felt self-conscious, almost as if she had been transported back in time to her adolescent years.Sunjae, already dressed in his own uniform, couldn't hide the delight that danced in his eyes as he secretly took in the sight of his wife.
"Pretty," he breathed, his gaze sweeping over her from head to toe. "Just like I remember."
Sol stood in front of the familiar high school building, her fingers fidgeting nervously with the hem of her school uniform. She glanced over at Sunjae, who was grinning ear to ear, already brimming with excitement.
"Sunjae-ah, I know we're going to visit our old school, but do we really have to do this?" she asked, a hint of apprehension in her voice.
Sunjae chuckled, stepping closer to adjust the collar of her shirt, nodding softly," It will be fun", as his fingers grazed the fabric, Sol couldn't help but be transported back to their high school days, when Sunjae's easy camaraderie and playful banter had been a constant in her life.
Just as Sol was about to protest Sunjae's insistence on wearing their old school uniforms, he leaned in closer, cutting her off.
"Hurry, Sol-ah, or we'll be late for class!" Sunjae exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with playfulness. "You don't want to get detention, do you?"
The words had barely left his lips when the familiar sound of the school bell rang out, echoing through the high school. Sol couldn't help but laugh at Sunjae's childlike enthusiasm, transported back to their carefree high school days.
"What was that even?," she chided, shaking her head in amusement. "We're not even students here anymore, you know."
But Sunjae was already tugging at her hand, practically bouncing with excitement. "That's the best part!"
Sol couldn't help but be swept up in his infectious energy. As they hurried towards the entrance, the memories of their teenage years came flooding back – the crowded hallways, the whispers of gossip, the thrill of rushing to class just before the bell.
Sunjae and Sol wandered the familiar halls of their old high school, their laughter and playful banter echoing through the empty corridors.
"Remember when you got caught for smoking?" Sunjae reminisced, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Sunjae chuckled as he turned to Sol. " Ah, also when you and Hyeongu were always at each other's throats?"
Sol rolled his eyes, but Sunjae could see the faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"Remember that one time you got so riled up that you just straight up jumped at Hyeongu?"
He mimicked the motion, his hands flying up to clunk his own forehead. "Thunk! You two bumped heads so hard, I thought you were gonna crack your skulls open!"
