Sol sat cross-legged on the couch, her eyes glued to the flickering TV screen as the heartbreaking final scenes of the drama unfolded before her. Tears streamed down her face, her lower lip trembling as she fought to hold back the sobs threatening to escape.
The sound of the front door opening caught Sol's attention, and she glanced up from the drama she had been watching on TV. She knew it could only be one person - her mother, returning home from the grocery store as she brought some side dishes for the newlyweds.
Sol's mother, watched her daughter's emotional display with a deep frown. She had never understood Sol's tendency to become so invested in fictional stories, to the point of weeping like a child," Are you crying because of the drama or the lead actor is your husband?"
As the music swelled to a crescendo on the screen, Sol let out a loud, anguished cry, her hands flying to her face. "No, oh no! How could they do this?" she wailed,"SunJAE-Yaaa!"

Sol's mother let out an exasperated sigh, shaking her head. "Really, Sol, must you carry on so?" she chided, her voice laced with disapproval. "It's just a drama - it's not real. You're making a scene."
