Sunjae giggles to himself as he carefully unfolds the sheet and places it onto his freshly cleansed face, smoothing it out to ensure full coverage, gently taps the mask all over his face, "Gotta make sure this mask really soaks in," he says aloud, tapping his cheeks, forehead, and chin in a rhythmic pattern.

Still with the soothing face mask sheet on, Sunjae hears the familiar sound of the passcode being entered at his front door. His eyes light up - that must be his wife, Sol, coming home!

"Sol-ah!" Sunjae exclaims, quickly making his way towards the door. Sunjae pulls the door open eagerly, a big grin on his masked face. "Welcome home, honey!" he calls out.

But as Sol steps inside, she's momentarily taken aback by the sight of her husband greeting her with a bright white face mask on. Her eyes go wide and she takes a step back in surprise.

In her shock, she loses her footing and begins to slightly tumble backwards, the several paper bags full of groceries she's carrying slipping from her grasp.

"Sol-ah, careful!" Sunjae cries out, reaching a hand towards her to try and steady her.

Apples, cans, and other grocery items go rolling in all directions as the paper bags tear open.

"Sol-ah! Are you okay?" Sunjae gasps, quickly peeling off the face mask and rushing to her side

"Sol-ah! Are you okay?" Sunjae gasps, quickly peeling off the face mask and rushing to her side.

He forgets that he's in the middle of his morning skincare routine and the sheet mask is still firmly in place on his face.

Sol looks up at Sunjae, a mix of concern and exasperation on her face, "Sunjae-ah, what on earth were you doing wearing a face mask like that?" she asks, gesturing to the scattered groceries around them. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"I didn't mean to scare you like that. I was just so excited to look nice for our first anniversary, and I guess I got a little carried away.", He explains, gently placing a bag of onions back in its paper sack, Sunjae can't help but feel a pang of guilt around him.
