Sunjae sat across from Inhyuk in the dimly lit café, his gaze drawn to the way his friend had covered himself in sunglasses and a thick scarf. Despite the attempt at disguise, Sunjae couldn't help but look at him in disbelief.
"You know, you're only making it more obvious that you're an artist," Sunjae said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Inhyuk, the famous idol, shifted uncomfortably in his seat, tugging the scarf a little higher on his face. "I'm trying to blend in, okay? Can't have the paparazzi sniffing around," he muttered, his voice muffled by the fabric.
Sunjae chuckled, shaking his head. "Yah, you're wearing more layers than a winter coat an---
"Save that!", Sunjae was mid-sentence when Inhyuk cut him off, his eyes bright with excitement.
"So now are you listening to me? How's the melody so far? How about the lyrics? Is it good enough?" Inhyuk asked, his words tumbling out in rapid succession.
Sunjae blinked, momentarily taken aback by the sudden barrage of questions. "What are you talking about?"
Inhyuk leaned forward, his hands gesturing animatedly. "The song, Ryu Sunjae! The one I've been working on. I played you the rough demo just now?"
Realization dawned on Sunjae's face. "Oh, right! The new track you're working on. Sorry, I got a bit distracted." He cleared his throat, his expression shifting to one of attentiveness. "Okay--so now, what about it?"
"Ryu Sunjae!!", He half-whispered, frustrated by his best friend.
Inhyuk watched as Sunjae fell silent, his gaze drifting off as if he had something heavy on his mind. Reaching across the table, Inhyuk gently cupped Sunjae's cheeks, drawing his attention back to him.
"You're a little bit weird and off today..", In Hyuk squinted his eyes,"Why? Fighting with sol?"
