Chapter 5: TRIPLE DATE IS A GO PART ONE

Skulduggery and Valkyrie were still out looking for the black and blue spiky helmet for Tanith when Skulduggery's phone rang.

"Hello?" He said.

"HI SKULDUGGERY!" Saracen shouted.

"Oh god. Hi Saracen. Tanith I am afraid that your black and blue spiky helmet does not exist."

"Oh I don't care about that anymore. Come over to the cinema carpark. Me, Ghastly, Saracen and Dexter are here waiting for you guys." Tanith said.

She hung up and Skulduggery looked at Valkyrie,"Do you have anything to do with this?"

She held her hands in the air,"Hey don't look at me I'm as surprised as you are."

He tilted his head,"Who ever said I was surprised?"

"Dude don't start now."

"I'm just saying."

Valkyrie punched his arm lightly and laughed,"Shut up."

He laughed,"Valkyrie Cain just get in the car."

"Fine, fine. Whatever you say Skully P."

"Don't say that."

They walked to the car and got in,"Aww why not? It's a great nickname."

"It's really not."

He started the Bentley and drove to the cinema carpark.

"It so is." Valkyrie muttered.

"Valkyrie..."

"Ok ok fine. No more Skully P."

"Thank you."

"But what about Skully Boi?"

"Absolutely not."

"Damn. I had high hopes for that one."

He chuckled softly and looked at her,"You have a big imagination Valkyrie Cain."

She smiled in return and looked at him,"You have a big collection of hats Skulduggery Pleasant."

They laughed as Skulduggery parked the Bentley in the carpark and then looked at eachother in silence. The moment was slow as the world went on without them. The moment was perfect and both of them just wanted to look at eachother forever, dreaming about being happy together. But that moment was ruined when there was a knock on the window and they jumped in suprise. Tanith, Ghastly, Saracen and Dexter were all there grinning. Valkyrie rolled her eyes as they both got out of the car to make there way to the cinema with the others. Skulduggery activated his faćade.

"What movie are we watching by the way? You never told us." Valkyrie asked.

Dexter grinned,"We are going to be watching your favourite movie my dear Valkyrie. IT."

Valkyrie's stomach dropped,"What."

"Yeah. Your welcome."

They showed their tickets to the cinema lady behind the counter and walked down the hall and into the room that had the poster for IT next to it.

"Are you sure I can't skip this?"

"Nope and we're already here so it's too late now. Also there are only four seats here so you guys will have to sit somewhere else together."

"Wait what."

"Yeah. Go on now shoo. And I'm sure you don't want to sit next to any of us when we're doing our own thing..."

"No no it's fine you do your thing."

And they all sat in their seats and the movie started. Saracen and Dexter started making out as soon as the lights went out. Obviously.
