IT HAS BEEN been a exhausting few weeks at Yale,but to Betty's surprise, she has enjoyed Yale even more than Rory. Elizabeth cherished the chaos and the people she met there. Although the classes weren't all boring and the bars seemed exciting,it wasn't the dream she had in mind. Going home for the weekend felt quite calming and relaxing.
When Betty and her sister pulled up in front of their home,it was one of the quiet spring evenings in Stars Hollow.Betty pulled the keys out of the ignition as the car came to a halt.Rory exited the house with a joyful skip in that instant.
"Sure go,Rory i can do it alone"As she removed the bags from the car and set them on the ground,Betty murmured to herself. She heard a loud alarm going off in her house, and her head spun.Putting the bags on the porch,Betty skipped happily to the house.
"Oh no"Lorelai turned her head back to watch Betty walk in as the alarm went off once more.
"Since when do we have alarm"Betty yelled over the alarm beeping.
"Oh my sweet child,thank god you didn't cut your hair too"To stop the alarm,Lorelai yelled as she drew her second daughter into a corner.
"I might"Betty protected her ears from the loud alarm by covering them.
"Don't you dare"Her mother drew her in closer. "Nothing is better than sweet home"

Betty rolled over in her bed, squinting at the unfamiliar ceiling as the morning sun streamed through the window.Her room was quiet,just as she liked it. She yawned, stretching her arms above her head,when she heard a faint knock on the door.She sat up, instantly alert.She hurried down the stairs, but stopped at the last one when she saw her mother had lined up the sticky notes on the floor.
"Follow the line"Lorelai pointed to the line with her hand and shouted. "If you don't follow it the alarm will not get mad"
"Conrad"Betty leaned against the door frame and yawned again.
"Did you forget about me ?" Conrad leaned to look inside the house and laughed. "What's going on ?"
"I would invite you in Conrad but we have alarm crisis"Lorelai continued to glue papers to the floor while crawling on the ground.
"Let's go"Betty giggled and grabbed her jacket off the couch."She went crazy after her daughter's were getting smarter"
"I heard that"Lorelai exclaimed as the doors shut.
Betty and Conrad were walking down the main street of their hometown, their hands clasped together, laughing about something.It was a warm, sunny day, and the sky was a brilliant blue.The air smelled of freshly cut grass, and the sound of birds chirping filled the air
