AT YALE, the days flew by,and Logan Huntzberger seemed to follow her everywhere. Betty had a brilliant idea that Logan could help her join the Secret Society Club.It had the potential to be a really good fashion article that also benefited Conrad's and Rory's writing.
Betty walked into the dimly lit Yale bar,her eyes scanning the crowded room. She's dressed in a crisp white blouse and denim skirt.A smirk tugged at the corner of her lips as she spots three familiar faces huddled around the polished mahogany bar with a deliberate stride, she approaches the trio, who are busy nursing their drinks. The bar's soft light reflected off the rows of bottles behind them, casting a warm glow on their faces. Recognition flickered in their eyes as they spot her, and they straightened up slightly, the laughter dying down.
"Minions, where is your leader?" Betty said, her voice a teasing drawl, as she slid into the stool between them.
The one on her right, a burly guy with a slightly curly hair, slapped the bar with his hand. "Betty, always the charmer."
The bartender, an old-timer with a handlebar mustache, slid a coaster in front of her. "The usual?" he asked, his voice gruff but with a hint of affection.
"Not tonight, Joe," Betty said with a smile, her eyes never leaving the trio. "Just soda water with lime."
The boys exchanged glances, the tension palpable "Logan's not here," Colin said ,his eyes flicking to the door as if expecting him to barge in at any moment. "He's got some... uh, fraternity business to take care of."
Betty's smile didn't waver. "Too bad. I had a little something I needed to discuss with him." She took a sip of her soda water, the fizz dancing on her tongue. "But I'm sure you three can help me out."
Finn lent closer, his curiosity piqued. "Always in your service"
Betty lowered her voice, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I'm working on an article for the school paper, and I've heard whispers of a secret society here at Yale. I need an inside scoop, something no one else has."
The three boys exchanged a look that's a mix of surprise and skepticism. Finn's smile turned a bit sly. "And what makes you think we'd know anything about that?"
Betty smirked and said, "Oh, come on. You guys are the kings of the social scene. There's not a secret on this campus you don't have your fingers in." She took another sip of her soda water, her eyes locked on Wren's.
Colin cleared his throat, setting his drink down. "Look, Betty, even if we did know something, we couldn't just tell you." His voice is firm, but there's a hint of curiosity in his gaze.
Betty arched an eyebrow. "Oh, I think you could."
Finn chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair. "Logan already warned us about you"
