THE RAIN came down in sheets,like a waterfall from the heavens above, creating an endless ocean of gray and white on the ground.It was the kind of rain that made you want to curl up into a ball and just stay home, safe and dry.Betty could feel the cold droplets striking her skin as her, Rory and Paris ran inside the bricked buildings.
"Move,move"Rory yelled as he dashed past the students."Is it raining ?" Girl asked.
"No it's national baptism day"Paris glowered and gave the girl a shady glance."Tie your tubes,idot"
"I get the radiator"Betty hastily entered the room and undressed from her damp clothing.
"No way"Paris grumpled and shifted beneath her covers.
"My brain is freezing"Betty shivered and crawled under the covers." Can my brain froze?Is that possible?"
"For you,yes"Paris laughed, her teeth still trembling from the cold."For me,no"
"I should went to Florida"Betty rolled her eyes at Paris's remark.."I should say yes to girls"
"It's warm in Florida"Paris suddenly sat up abruptly,the covers falling away from her body."I should say yes to girls"
"What ?" Rory turned her head towards the blond girl."Nothing"Paris reclined and shook her head.
"Did you say Florida?" Rory rolled over onto her side,propping her head up with her hand. She gave Paris a puzzled look.
Paris stays away from direct eye contact with one of the Gilmore twin."No"
"I did" Betty chuckled softly,her eyes closed."The beach,drinks and the sun"
"Maybe I said yes" Paris smiled at the thought
Rory considered this for a moment, her heart racing with anticipation. "But it's spring break"
"I know"Paris shuddered."It's girls gone wild and boys doing the twist" Rory propped herself up on one elbow, considering the idea
"I could go wild at Florida"Betty sighed wistfully, imagining herself lying on a pristine beach,the sound of the waves, the parties."Please,please say yes to Florida" She gave her sister a cute little look.
"It's warm"Paris tilted her head
"Warm"Rory raised an eyebrow, amusement tugging at the corners of her lips.And Betty smiled,her eyes twinkling with excitement

Betty paused for a moment, glancing up at the framed photo of her and Conrad on the wall.She smiled wistfully,remembering the spring breaks they spend together.This year it was the first time they spend it separately since they were 5 years old.Her mom's familiar voice broke into her thoughts. "Honey, can I talk to you for a sec?" she asked,leaning against the doorframe of Betty's bedroom.
