"Boruto, you're hopeless."
"What!? What was that for?" Boruto asked, frowning as he scooted a little away from Sarada.
"You're like a crazy teenager," Sarada said, rolling her eyes and twirling her fingers around her temple.
"Leave out the 'crazy' part and you're good to go," Boruto said with a wide grin, making his whisker marks rise.
"Sigh... sure, whatever you say," Sarada replied, kicking her feet in the air as Boruto lay next to her, staring at the ceiling just as she did.
"I wonder how I'm going to stay away from you, Sarada," Boruto said, breaking his childish persona.
"Hey."
"Don't worry about me, I'll always be yours," Sarada said, chuckling softly. "So focus on yourself. You promised to be my right hand, right?"
"So become stronger, stop this fight with Kawaki, and bring back Nanadaime and Hinata Obasaan."
"I will, Sarada," Boruto replied softly.
"That's what I like to hear," Sarada said, chuckling as she raised her hand and clenched her fist. "We're bringing back our world, shannaro!"
"Bringing back our world, shannaro!" Boruto echoed.
"Sh-shannaro's my line!"
"Since when?" Boruto teased.
"Okay, dattebasa!" Sarada pressed the words onto him.
"Hey, that's my line!" Boruto frowned at Sarada.
"Sure, honey," Sarada said, raising an eyebrow at him.
"See? I'm going to miss that cocky attitude of yours," Boruto said, exhaling sharply.
"Don't worry, you have my dad. I got this behavior from the best."
"Yeah, never mind..." Boruto said, scratching his head as Sarada burst into laughter.
"Ahh, I love you, you damn idiot," Sarada said, slowly stopping her laughter.
"Love you too, beautiful," Boruto teased, leaving Sarada flustered as she buried her face in her pillow while he caressed her hair.
"Sarada... I-I was thinking..." Boruto said, pouting and blushing.
"Hm? What is it?" Sarada asked, cuddling her pillow.
"Well, since I'm leaving soon, I was wondering if y-you and I could, like, go to this amazing place with a great view. I think y-you'd like it, dattebasa!" Boruto stammered nervously, glancing at Sarada. She gasped in shock.
"So, a date," Sarada blurted out, leaving Boruto flustered. He swatted his hands defensively, sitting up and revealing his chiseled physique under the blanket.
"S-sure, I guess," Boruto said, scuffing the back of his head. Sarada giggled at his shyness.
"Tell me more about this place!" Sarada said excitedly, sitting up and covering herself with Boruto's white shirt.
"It's a beach, at the very end of the Village of Mist."
"A beach?" Sarada gasped, happiness beaming in her eyes.
"Yes," Boruto replied, smiling softly.
"This is going to be fun!" Sarada squealed, acting like a little girl for once. Boruto chuckled at the sight.
"Of course," Boruto replied, almost forgetting that she was all his.
"Thank you, Boruto," Sarada said suddenly.
