When one of the best UConn players, Kailea Cameron, and one of the best players from Iowa, Kate Martin, somehow forms an interest deeper than friendship.
Let's see what happens when both ironically meet again because this time, it's not to play agai...
(This was when both UConn and Iowa wbb were in Croatia)
I was rushing while getting ready for the first day I got to spend in Croatia with my girls. I walked out of the bathroom that I was sharing with Aubrey, and I had my hairbrush in my left hand, and my lip combo in my right.
"Shit, we're just touring a bit, you know that right?" Aubrey asked as she stood by the large window, letting the sun beam through. "I'm aware Aubrey, but I don't like looking like a mess," She laughs as her phone starts ringing.
I run back to the bathroom and I quickly brush my hair out. "Hello? Yeah, we're almost ready," I hear Aubrey say from the bedroom. "By the coffee place? This street?" I quickly do my lip combo, and then I run into the bedroom and try to choose between two different shoes.
"Ok, we'll meet you down in 5 minutes," I look up and hold both shoe options and Aubrey chooses my white dunks. I say thank you as I rush and put my socks, shoes, and jewelry on.
I go through all my perfumes and figure out which one to wear, I couldn't choose between two so I brought both and made Aubrey choose, "I like this one," She holds the perfume bottle up as I put the other one back in my perfume pouch, I spray a bit of the perfume around my neck, on my wrists, and a bit on my top.
I grab one of my purses and put my wallet, perfume, lip combo, glasses, hair clips, and hair ties inside.
Aubrey started gathering her stuff, and we eventually left our room, as we got down to the lobby, we ran into some of the girls. "Hey girly pops," KK says as she hugs me and eventually hugs Aubrey. "What's up," I say as I dap up Paige and Ice. "What's up sexy," Nika says as she looks me up and down and we laugh and hug each other.
"We were just about to meet up with the rest of the girls and coach at the coffee shop at the corner of the street," KK says as we leave the hotel and take in the heat and the sun.
After a few minutes of walking, we finally get to the coffee shop and spot the rest of the girls and coach Geno. We all exchange greetings and then Geno finally leads us towards the tourist guide.

Kate Martin's POV ║ same day
I sat there after I replied to her comment. I can't believe I commented on her post, calling her cute. "Kate?!" I jump when Jada walks into my room with Hannah following her, "YOU CALLED KAI CUTE," Jada yells as she jumps on my bed. "Yes, and?" I say, trying to hold back my nervous smile.
"You like her don't you?" Hannah asks as she sits beside me, grabbing a pillow and putting it on her lap. "No, wait- why is that even a question?" I was genuinely confused as to how they've established that question. "I mean, she's the only girl you've called cute besides Jada, AND Kai is the only person who you keep track of on social media," Hannah explains.
I shake my head as I grab the matcha on the table beside me. "THERE!" I jump again when Jada yells, pointing at me. "WHAT??" I say as I put my matcha down and lift my hands.
"YOU DIDN'T DENY IT! YOU JUST SHOOK YOUR HEAD," Jada yells as I cover my face with my hands, and Hannah laughs. "I can't believe you guys are genuinely on my ass about Kai."
I stood up, fixed my shirt, and walked into the restroom, "Well, you seem like you're interested in Kai, so..." Hannah said as she walked into the bathroom with Jada, "OH MY GOD CAN'T A GIRL PEE IN PEACE?" I somewhat yell as they scurry out of the bathroom and close the door behind them.
"I'm just saying, when we all hang out with the UConn girls, you should shoot your shot," Jada says as I shake my head at the idea of 'shooting my shot'.
