A couple hours passed since our interaction and I haven't heard from him since. Margot and Maddi keep asking me if I heard from him yet and it's beginning to give me anxiety each time. He probably realized how gross I was up close and changed his mind. Maybe the guys in the elevator dared him to ask for my number. What if he actually has a girlfriend and is having second thoughts on talking to me.
Oh the joys of overthinking when it comes to a boy you admire. But to be honest with you, I'm incredibly rusty with this relationship or situationship thing, whatever you wanna call it. I've been (happily) single for 2.5 years now so I really feel like I don't know what I'm doing, or how to act.
It was finally time to get ready for the game. After blowdrying my hair, I threw on some snug jeans with a navy crop top and finished my outfit with a basic pinstripe Yankees jersey with no player number or name.
I began to lose hope. Should I text him and wish him goodluck? I don't wanna seem desperate. Especially if he changed his mind about me..
