And just like that, the air was clear and it happened so easily. How amazing was it that we were both on the same page about everything.

We talked about anything and everything after that, and the best part was that it felt so comfortable. He opened up about his childhood and what growing up in Watchung was like. We basically came from two totally different places, with completely opposite types of parents and childhoods, yet here we are, still with more similarities than differences. Anthony Volpe has turned out to be more than just a dream.

They both settled onto the bed laying next to eachother while they talked about anything and everything. Aria could see his face growing tired as another hour passed by.

"I should get going. You need to get some sleep. What time do you have to wake up tomorrow?" She said as she sat up.

"Mmm, probably around 9 the latest." He mumbled through the pillow. Aria panicked thinking it would be way later since their game wasn't until 6:40pm.

"Omgosh thats in like 5 hours." She began to peel away from him and the bed until she felt his hand grab hers.

"Just stay.. Please.." He pulled her back down and she melted right back into the bed next to him. His arm found a perfect resting spot across her stomach. She looked down at his arm on her and couldn't help but smile at this sweet moment.

She set an alarm for 6am then snuggled into Anthony deeper for the best 2 hours of sleep she's had in a long time.

Anthony was surprised to wake up to no Aria in sight. He could have sworn he told her to stay, and he was sure he felt her cuddling him before he knocked out. He reached for his phone to call her before he heard a knock at his door.

He zombie walked to the door with eyes half open and hair a mess, knowing it more than likely was not going to be Aria. He peeped through the hole certain to see one of his teammates but instead saw Isabella and Michael on the other side.

"Goodmorning," He welcomed his parents in with hugs. Suddenly he remembered the small brown bag laying on the dresser next to the bed. In a panic he rushed ahead of them to grab it and stash it under some clothes in the dresser that sat under the tv.

"It's a mess," He continued to pretend to tidy up other things.

"Oh honey it's fine, you had a long day and late night last night." Isabella said as she had a seat on the edge of his bed.

"We weren't sure if you were going to get something to eat downstairs or if you wanted to go with us somewhere." Michael said.

"Ohh it's okay the guys were gonna meet at 9 for something small downstairs dad, thank you."

As his parents were leaving, Juan and Stanton walked in to pick Anthony up for breakfast.

The two walked up and down the room slowly inspecting every inch the room for signs of a night with a happy ending for the shortstop. Anthony laughed and let them do their thing while he went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face.

Juan gave Giancarlo is questionable look. Stanton replied with a silent shrug. They could not find any trace of the two going to pound town the night before. Where is the bag they dropped off? He looked in the trash cans for used ones or wrappers with no success. Juan got desperate, so he opened up the dresser under the tv and began searching.

"Are you crazy?!" Giancarlo whisper shouted at Juan for going into Anthony's things.

"Found it!" Juan whisper shouted pulling it out. His face flushed with disappointment when he realized the box still hasn't been opened yet.
