"So you're going to F1Tv?" Lando smiled as we were sitting on the balcony of his hotel room with a couple of his friends.

"I don't know yet, depends if they still want me after we announce our relationship"

But I was 90% sure already. Just didn't want to jinx it.

Can't believe I would choose a relationship over a job. Past me wouldn't even have to think about that.

But past me didn't know Lando.

Past me didn't know how fast and hard I was gonna fall for Lando.

"They are crazy if they don't want you" Ria, one of Lando's friends said.
All his friends were honestly amazing, they were so nice to me.

"Still can't believe you're gonna leave me" Milan shook his head, acting as if he was disappointed, sad or both.

But trust me, he wasn't that sad at all, he knew exactly who was gonna replace me.

"Anyways, when is the hard launch?" Milan asked, looking at the both of us. "Tomorrow, after the race" I answered.

"The post is ready in my drafts" Lando said with a big smile on his face.

"And are you ready for it?" Ria looked at me. There was concern all over her face. "I am not even dating him and I sometimes get a lot of shit"

I shrugged. "I don't know, there will always people who will hate on us, but I just want to go out in public with him"

Watching movies and cuddling in bed were amazing, but I wanted to go dinner with him, go to the movies, go on long walks.

And actually kiss and hold him while doing all that.

I know Lando wanted to keep it private for a bit longer, not for him, but to protect me.

"They will think the sexual texts were from you" Ria said. "And everyone will hate you for it" Milan added.

"Yeah okay okay.." Lando interrupted them. "Don't make her scared now"

"It's not about being scared Lando, she should be prepared for it" Ria said.

I nodded, taking it all in. I was prepared for it, in a way at least. You could never be fully prepared for it.

Guess I just have to avoid social media for a while, or for ever.

"You still want it, right?" Lando asked softly as we were laying in bed together.

Our friends left, probably to party or whatever, but we needed an early night.
Or he did at least.

He had to be ready for the race. He qualified P6 today, which wasn't too great.
But I know he could make up places tomorrow.

"I don't get scared easily" I chuckled. "I am a baby gorilla after all"

"My baby gorilla" he said, nuzzled his face against my neck and wrapped his arms around me. "I just want you to know that I love you"

"I love you too" I smiled. Brushed my hands against his back. "Are you ready for the race?"

"The car has some good pace, too bad I fucked quali up"

"You didn't fuck it up, you're still on P6. I am sure you can still win the race"

He chuckled at that. "I will be happy if I can finish on the podium"

"And I'm sure you will win it"

He laughed again, this time a little softer, probably because he was trying to enjoy my fingers against his back.

He probably didn't want to think about tomorrow and neither did I if I was honest.
I was gonna enjoy these last moments where it was just him and I.

Without the world knowing we were dating. Without everyone judging us.
