"Today is the day" Milan chuckled, nudging me a little. "What day is it?" Jesse asked confused.

"Hard launch day for Lando and Gianna" Milan said softly.

"Oh right!" Milan said enthusiastically. "I am so excited for that"

"Anyways guys, it's my last day at Sky Sports" I announced, even though I was sure they were already expecting this.

"So you took the job at F1Tv?" Jesse asked. I nodded at that. It was a great opportunity. It was the highest you could reach in F1 journalism.

And I did it.

"And do you know who's gonna replace me?" I asked rhetorically, smirked a little.

"Ohhh" Jesse nudged Milan with a smile. "Your girl?"

"She's not my girl" he mumbled.

I was damn sure he would love to make her his girl, but I wasn't sure if Myliza was ready for anything serious.

We watched the race together and I was so nervous. Lando was driving in P1, with only a couple of laps to go.

"He's gonna wi-"

"Shush!" I quickly interrupted Milan. Didn't want anyone to jinx it, didn't want anyone to ruin this for him.

He deserved this, he needed it.

I put my hands in front of my mouth, my heart was beating in my chest, so damn fast.

And then he crossed the finish line, in first place.

I couldn't believe it. He just did that.

My baby won the race.

I hugged Milan as a reflex, he was also happy for Lando, I could see that.

"Can I.." I didn't even need to ask the question because he already knew what I was trying to ask.

Milan rolled his eyes and nodded. "I will handle the media pen, go to the podium"

"Thank you!" I wrapped my arms around him. "I will make it up to you"

I ran to the pitlane, where Lando would park his car and it was already packed with mechanic, everyone of his team and a lot of journalists already.

I pushed through almost everyone, but I still didn't want to stand in front of everyone.

Even though my baby just won his first race. And there was nothing I wanted more than to hug and kiss him.

For them, I was just another journalist.

For them, I was just an annoying girl who wanted to have the biggest headline or the best picture.

Jon, his trainer turned around and looked me straight in my eyes. He looked so happy for him. He was so proud.

He held his hand out and gestured me to come stand next to him, so that's what I did.

I was standing next to him and Zak, and I could see the confusion in Zak's eyes.

"She's his girlfriend" Jon explained.

"Oh" Zak narrowed his eyes. "And a Sky Sports journalist, no?"

"For now" I nodded. I didn't even realize that I made it look as if I wasn't gonna be a journalist anymore.

Whatever, didn't care what Zak thinks about me. This wasn't about me, nor about him.

This was about Lando. It was all about him.

He took his helmet off as he was walking, or running to his mechanics.
He jumped on top of them and I smiled so big as I looked at them.

He was so loved by them, everyone was just so happy for him.

And then he walked to us, he was definitely surprised to see me standing next to Jon and Zak.

"I told you" I chuckled before he put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me. "I fucking love you" he mumbled.

I guess we didn't need to post anything on Instagram after all.
We kissed for the entire world to see, I don't know how many people watched this race, but they all saw the kiss we shared.

Talk about a hard launch.
