This was just a few days after the Shadow Garden attack on the Fenrir faction. Once Princess Alexia had been found and rescued, Cid was declared innocent and all charges against him were dropped.
Alexia was interrogated after her rescue, Zenon Griffey was revealed as her captor, but since he had been killed by the mysterious Nightshroud and Shadow, he could not be punished for his crimes, so all his surviving accomplices paid the price - they were the laughing stock of the Kingdom of Midgar.
But with this attack, Shadow Garden and the Cult of Diablos were revealed to the world.
In the Midgar Academy cafeteria, the Kagenou brothers, (Y/N) and Cid were eating their food with Skel and Po, who were busy digging into Cid's "relationship" with Alexia.
"So, tell me, how did it go with Princess Alexia?" Skel asked.
"There's nothing left to tell. We broke up and that was that." Cid replied.
"He's right, you know. (Y/N) added.
"You didn't even kiss her?!" Po asked.
"No, I didn't. Not once." Cid replied.
"Ugh, what a waste!" Skel shouted. "You're a lost cause!
" ... You're both better off." (Y/N) sighed, having a hard time putting up with the two pushovers his brother had chosen as friends.
"All right. Since you're such a wimp, I know a place that can help you." Says Skel.
"A brothel! What do you say?!" Says Po.
"Not that kind of place!" Retorted Skel. "I'm talking about Mitsugoshi, the one everyone's talking about! They sell all kinds of things nobody's ever seen before! They've got this thing called Chocolat, it's delicious as hell! And apparently they have a store dedicated to Duel Monster. Can you imagine all the rare cards you could get there?"
"Mitsugoshi. If I'm not mistaken, this is the store Gamma runs. It's been a while, maybe I'll pay him a visit." (Y/N) thought.
"Oh, I understand. We could use this to get the girls to..." Po thought.
"Hey, come on guys, let's go!" Said the two cannonballs.
"If you like." Said Cid.
"I've got nothing else to do." Said (Y/N), agreeing to put up with them a little longer, in order to see the fruits of Gamma's hard labor.
"Yeah! Woohoohoo!!!"
"I mean, I'm curious what the chocolate in this world is like." Cid thought.
"I could use the opportunity to see Gamma." (Y/N) thought.

With school over, (Y/N), Cid, Skel and Po were now in the Mitsugoshi district of the Midgar kingdom.
As they waited to enter, Skel and Po were window-shopping in line with (Y/N) and Cid.
"Man, these crowds are crazy!" Said Po.
"The girl outside said we had to wait 80 minutes if we wanted to get in." Says (Y/N).
"So, what do you think we should do? I think we can still get back to the dorms before curfew. But there are all these rumors about a killer who goes around after dark and slaughters people." Said Po.
"Wait, you say a killer?" Cid asked.
"What? Po, you're stupid. Besides, we've got four Black Knights on our team." Said Skel.
"Oh yeah, good point." Po confessed.
"So, about this killer..." Said Cid.
"It was in the papers about a man found dead and dismembered in an alley not too far from here. Maybe I'll check it out tonight." (Y/N) thought.
