Chapter 06: Lindwurm

After a few days' rest, (Y/N) was finally released from hospital. Due to the destruction of the academy caused by the Cult of Diablos, the school was closed and he and the other students enjoyed an early summer vacation while the campus was being repaired.

As for Sherry, her mental state was not in the best of conditions, so she was still being cared for in hospital. She was still under the protection of the Shadow Ghoul, but was moved to another room because Iris and the Purple Order didn't want her near Lutheran.

He then left his room and headed for the station.

At the station, (Y/N) lined up to board the train to Lindwurm.

"Cid said he'd be on the next train tomorrow. Hmmm, I hope to finish this before he gets here, just to piss him off..."

As the line began to move, (Y/N) felt a bag hit him on the back as he moved forward.

"Oh sorry! My apologies for hitting you!"

As the fires were put out by the knights, Rose ran towards the Academy's medical center.

When she arrived, she ran through rows of injured students being cared for by doctors and medical staff.

But she stopped at the end of the row and smiled happily at whoever she saw.

"Thank God, I'm so glad you're alive!" She said.

"Heh, I can tell you the same..." (Y/N) smiled.

"Your unwavering efforts and love must have produced a miracle!"

"What the hell is she talking about..." (Y/N) thought. "Wait, with what I did to disappear off the cult's radar during the attack, she doesn't think..."

Rose took (Y/N)'s hand and knelt down beside him.

"I accept all your feelings for me. You gave your life for me. So now, I'll give you my heart."
