After his surprising appearance and exit as Nightshroud and his fight against Aurora, (Y/N) left the arena where the Goddess Trial was taking place to return to his old vantage point, the walls of Lindwurm.
"And now... With Nightshroud suddenly reappearing after so long, they'll be more focused on him rather than a student. It may also give Alpha and the others time to get into the Sanctuary. Speaking of which, I should come back and help." He said as he still had his dueling sword sheathed at his belt.
Just as (Y/N) was about to return to the arena, he noticed a bright red light behind him.
"What's that...?"
He looked down to see that it was the magic door to the Sanctuary.
"This is the portal...."
Then an idea occurred to him. He teleported to the other side of the walls and the portal followed him.
"Hmm, a few more times. Just to be sure."
He began teleporting again and again into the city, but the gate kept following him, no matter where he went. Then he teleported out of Lindwurm and the door appeared right in front of him.
"Exactly as I thought. When I called upon Sanctuary, it seems I did more than just make it appear. Now the door wants me to enter and it won't stop until I do..." he thought.
Then he thought of Aurora, the witch of calamity, whom he fought in the arena before making his decision.
"Very well, then. You win, Sanctuary." (Y/N) sighed before stepping inside.
As he passed through the door, it closed again.

Back at the arena, everyone in the crowd was looking at the Sanctuary door with curiosity in their eyes. In the VIP section, Nelson was in shock as the Sanctuary responded to Nightshroud. Seeing the door open, the archbishop ordered the evacuation of the entire arena.
Now it was just Nelson, Natsume, Rose and Alexia.
"Now ladies, we don't want to risk putting you in danger, so let's get out of the arena and..." Nelson said before Rose and Alexia drew their swords, causing Beta and Nelson to panic. "What the hell are you..."
Nelson turned his head and was shocked to see a group of black-clad intruders in the VIP section.
"I suggest you stop right there." Said one.
"Y-You... this can't be... Shadow Garden?!" Said Nelson, recognizing Shadow in the group.
"Alpha, I'll go in first." Said Shadow.
"Understood, Shadow."
"Very well, now it's time for me to make a cool jump and land directly in that cool door." Cid thought before leaping into the air and being taken directly into the Sanctuary.
"My apologies. But I ask you to behave until the door is closed, Your Highnesses. I entrust them to you, Epsilon." Said Alpha.
"Understood, Alpha."
Nelson turned his head to see Epsilon, who had already eliminated his guards.
"Delta."
"Yeah, I got you."
Alexia looked at Alpha.
"So that's Alpha. She's strong. Stronger than Iris." she thought.
Alpha and Delta, along with several Shadow Garden agents, jumped onto the stadium floor and entered the sanctuary.
