A New Home (pt 2)

Branch had gathered up his stuff and was met by John Dory at the door as they prepared to walk to meet King Peppy and Rosemary. When they arrived, Branch was still, he didn't want to leave. But he had no choice.

JD: Branch? I know that this is hard, but you just have to accept it... be good for Rosemary and never forget... I love you.

Branch walked up to Rosemary, and as she smiled at him, he smiled back. But as they were leaving, Branch turned around and gave his brother a big hug. John Dory stood still, not knowing how to react as Branch returned by Rosemary's side. Halfway to his new home, Branch heard a rustling in the bushes. He looked behind him to see Creek emerge.

Creek: *mockingly* Hello, Bitty Branch. *gets in front of him* You're not leaving without saying goodbye? Aw, and I thought we were on such good terms.

Branch looking sad just goes around him and keeps walking.

Creek: Man, I feel your pain. Gosh, I really do. It has got to be hard to have a brother who's so ashamed of you that he'd give you away. *smiles evily*

Branch stopped in his tracks and clenched his fists. Turning around, he punches Creek.

Creek: *fixes his jaw* Oh yeah? *punches Branch back*

The two trollings continue to fight with Creek winning until Rosemary hears shouting behind her and realizes Branch is in trouble. But as Branch pushes Creek back, Rosemary comes to make sure Branch's alright. This infuriates Creek, so he pushes Branch and Rosemary at the same time, causing Rosemary to set off a Bergen trap. She was struggling as a bell continued to ring each time she did.

Rosemary: Both of you need to get to safety, now!

Creek: MOMMY!!!

Branch was in shock as flashbacks of how his grandma died appeared in his mind.

Rosemary: Branch Run! Branch Run!

Branch hears Rosemary's cries and snaps back into reality, making him run away.

Rosemary: That's it Branch, don't stop running! Keep running, keep running! *still struggling to break free*

Branch sees her and hears the Bergen coming. So, out of brave stupidity, he trusted his gut.

Branch: *climbs to highest tree branch* Hey stupid Bergen, over here!

Bergen: GROWL! *tries to grab Branch but misses*
