John Dory led Branch to his study where he wanted to have a talk with Branch.

JD: Cinnamon roll?

Branch: Uh, no, thanks.

JD: Now we get to the initiation. *cracks knuckles*

Branch: Initiation?

The door behind him locked up, and John Dory cornered him against the door.

JD: What drives you, Branch Embers? What do you feel? *points to his chest* What's your center?

Branch: My center?

JD: If the man in Oak Wood chose you, there must be a reason. *smiles*

John Dory rummaged in his desk till he found a Russian doll of himself.

JD: Here, this is how you see me, right? Strong-willed or having leader-like qualities, no? But if you get to know me a little... go on. Dig deeper.

Branch removed a piece.

Branch: You're silly?

JD: Not just silly. I'm also fearless, kind, and then my center.

Branch: There's a little wooden baby.

JD: What do you notice about it? What do you see?

Branch: You have a big head.

JD: Yes! Vert big because I have big ideas. Big ideas that help protect and care for my family. Which now includes you.

Branch looked at him and smiled.
