"perhaps we'll meet another time ningning." y/n says and smiled softly while putting her hands inside the pockets of her pants.

"how are you certain about that?" ningning asked with a curious and worried expression.

"we're connected, aren't we?" y/n asks as ningning's lips curled into a soft smile.

"right, we are."

"ningning! oh there you are!" karina started to jog up towards ningning while y/n smiled sadly.

"see you when i see you ningning!" y/n says and runs back to where her friend was, far from the backstage.

ningning waved her hand and watched as y/n's figure leaving.

"what took you so long? and who was that?" karina asks when she stopped beside ningning.

"come on! i'll tell you and the other girls." ningning replies excitedly as she grabs karina's wrist and drags her to the backstage, excited to tell her story.

"..and the red thread appeared again after our performance! so i told karina-eonni that i was going to the restroom and ended up following the red string, and poof! we bumped into each other!" the girls sat together at the backstage, attentively listening to ningning with curious faces.

"wahh, that's so cool!" winter beamed.

"then what happened?" karina asked.

"we had a small conversation. at first i thought she was a fan, but apparently her friend dragged her here." ningning giggled and the others chuckled along.

"but she told me she didn't regret coming since it led her to me!" at this point, ningning was smiling like an idiot and the girls were in awe.

"so when are you meeting her again?" giselle asked and ningning's smile faded, realizing the situation.

"you didn't get her number, did you?" karina asked and sighed jokingly.

ningning shook her head and let out an embarrassed scream of defeat.

"i'm so stupid." she says, covering her face with her palms while the eldest caressed the maknae's back softly.
